How does it revert back to the original physics file? does it re-download it or does it have it backed up offline somewhere?

Yes, if you use the default launcher (UpLauncher) the game detects the modified file and downloads the original one to replace the modified file.

I'd like to participate in the test too. Since modders found out how to decrypt and encrypt cpr files I had some tests on modifying Physics.cpr, but I couldn't go as far as you could, so please let me help testing your cpr:)

It's great someone is doing something about the handling of tdu2 so +rep to you for that.

I would very much like to try out your work, as I find the current model extremely frustrating, in its unpredictability and unrealistic feel.

I'd be very willing to help out. There's so much potential in TDU 2, but all the way from the beta they still haven't sorted the physics properly. Should be good to test with my Driving Force GT.

If you are still looking for testers i would be glad to help, i currently use a Logitech G25 wheel and i am sick and tired of the wheel lock under braking problem. it would be nice if we could even out the pedals totally. what i mean is you only need to tap the clutch a tiny bit to be able to change gear (which clearly isnt real) you only need to lean on the brake slightly and the wheels lock up. I actually thought that was issues with the game not using controllers properly, but it seems you have found its all to do with the physics of the cars. So i would Very much like to help get that removed. If you still want testers then let me know, ill be up for that!
