Really is a shame. And while his cars remain amazing (for the most part *COUGH*Mustang II/Current GT350*COUGH*, but it's too soon to be talking about the misses), one of the most impressive things was the fact that he never really retired. He was even involved in the development of the Shelby 1000 - a car not even released yet. Good for him.

Just saw a GT500 today! :( I'm not usually into 'Stangs but it was pretty awesome. Better than the Camaro it was parked next to.

 

Was glad to see that he wanted to make the 1000 even when he knew time was "running out" (sadly). RIP.
