Yeah, although at the time the commentators said that the FIA released a bulletin stating that he was conscious and talking, must have deteriorated after that

Yeah, this is my problem with the whole thing, seriously unsure as to whether it should have gone ahead after the incident, I know his family were for it but I honestly do not, in the slightest, feel enough respect has been paid to the driver that so unfortunately lost his life. R.I.P.

 

I just get the impression that the race would have most likely continued whether his family supported it or not, which is completely my opinion and i understand that. I just believe more should have been done to respect what happened near the start of the race.

I always like to watch the race around this time because of the sunrise. Not only is it beautiful but the glare obviously causes problems for drivers but this time around it's cloudy. At least it's a little wet though.

unless other driver's lives are in danger, they would rarely suspend the race for an incident like this. People prepare for lemans for all year long maybe more.

It's sad when anyone dies but it'd be pointless to suspend the race.

#2 in pit driver change Kristensen going in

 

#49 got a 30 sec stopn go penalty for speeding in pit lane

 

#7 is chasing down #3 with a 3 sec gap now
