Shows you liked that were unfortunately cancelled.

You know how it goes, there's big hype around a new show, the Pilot is shown to a decent reception but during it's run it starts to falter and the network announces that they will not be renewing for another season despite the season finale leaving you on such a cliffhanger. Or you may get a few seasons out of it but they let it run too long and they just kill it off before answering the questions that remained.

So what show(s) were you a fan of that was cancelled leaving you disappointed?

One recent example I have is The Event. Don't know if anyone has seen that but I enjoyed it and the finale was just so unfair to leave us with. :(

The tomorrow people (new version) this show was amazing, I enjoyed every bit of it I'm not sure if anyone here has seen it but the cliffhanger they left was massive, and gearing up to season 2 it didn't get renewed which absolutely killed me, it was the first ever show that I enjoyed that got cancelled which wasn't a pleasent experience, I'm still upset :/

I think Medium wins this one. 7 seasons is a great run for a TV show but that's not the problem. They got half way into the 7th season when the network decided to cancel the show. Okay fine, it happens, it's had a nice run at least, right? Except after another 2 episodes they decided to cut the 22 episode long season in half, broadcasting only 13 episodes. The show's writers mustn't have responded well to that, because the season finale ends with every damn character dead. Every damn one! :fp2:

Also I was watching Matthew Perry interviewing Lisa Kudrow yesterday, and they both said if they could go back in time, and it was their decision, they would have kept on making Friends until it hit the point where people didn't want to watch it any more. This makes me sad. The last episode still leaves a lot of open storylines. :(
