Hi, people!

I got problems with my "my personal" bedroom PC, like i say and now its config is the basic to play TDU(for sometimes, i still prefer to play on my top one)...

It's: 2,61Ghz, 2GB Ram, "on board nVídia 6100 256MB, but very good.

I set all too lowest, it's playable, and the engine sound is a bit annoyng when start, and i want just a bit more of fps, then:

"Could someone send me the post where is that post about the low and medium end pc config to download?"

I already tried the search, but i forgot the name and thied manykinds of tags...

Since now THANKS! This thread looks the best to me to ask it...

I think your GFX card would struggle even on minimum res/quality

My only advice is: Buy a new one

Me too. I was trying to run this game on a GeForce 8500GT 256MB and I barely could get 20FPS or so on low settings and a lower resolution. Look into getting a Radeon 3850HD or something close. Probably about $80.00 for one. I suggest Newegg.com for new parts.

Hi, i was mistaken, i saw thiese "mods" on a brazilian site.

The mod is called TDU: Tweak Guide:

This: http://www.forum.clickgratis.com.br/testdriveunlimi/t-45_s-0.html

Part of the topic:

Versão 1 - Computadores Médios. (se vc tem uma 6800GT ou superior)

http://files.filefront.com/INI_Hackedzip/;6844652;;/fileinfo.html

(For medium end PCs with 6800GT or better)

Versão 2 - Computadores Simples. (para outros pcs piores)

http://files.filefront.com/FXZIP/;6844639;;/fileinfo.html

(For low end PCs)

"it changes the "Weather" and "FX" files to off, then you have no Sun, or road reflex on the car, but not ugly, it looks like silk bright."

As optional, you can rename the "wind effects" ans traffic directories to: BAK_Details(Euro\Bnk\Details) and BAK_Traffic(\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules\Traffic), they'll be deactivated.

I feel sorry, i thought it was here 'cause the site looks almost the same...

Well now on Thursday night I bought a 4850HD, which I think will run TDU great.

Also I got an AMD 64 X2 6400+ 3.2Ghz Black Edition dual-core to upgrade from my AMD 64 4000+ 2.6Ghz single-core. A big performance boost overall! I'm hoping I'll be able to run 60FPS+ with that setup, as opposed to like 10-15FPS >.>

Hi, Reventon!

This processor is more than the recommended, it will run great together a good vga.

Click on the "green radioactiove symbol" on the botton of my forum activity to see my specs, it run wi all on the top, without any lag, the loading is ultra fast...

My post #280 on this thread was about another own PC.

(2,61Ghz, 2GB Ram, on board nVídia 6100 256MB(bios)) all down with lag... ~10/15fps.

Hey do you reckon my rig would play this properly?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+

2gb Ram

360GB HDD

Asus/Nvidia GEFORCE 9800GT

I've got it running, but the frame rate is all over the place and it likes freezing.

Any suggestions as to how far I can take it before my system starts to do this?

Hello guys,

I've got a problem, I just got a new PC specs.:

- Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

- Processor: intel core i7 cpu 920 @ 2,67 GHz (8 cpu's), ~3,5 GHz

- memory: 6144 MB RAM

- direct x: v.11

- nVidia GeForce GTX 295

The problem is: when i play TDU all the other cars (normal cars and the AI ones) start flying accros the road (from left to right), I didn't have this problem with my old PC (forgot specs. but it ran on win XP). And the second problem is that the gear changes are slow, i use a trust steering wheel and when i want to change gears i need to press it multiple times before it reacts, and again i didn't have this problem with my old PC.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Greetings Gundamzerow

You could try reinstalling which can fix quite a few problems and the steering wheel might need to update the drivers. XP to Vista for steering wheels is :crying:. Im pretty sure your pc can run it without lag, well it could run practically anything without lag for that matter.
