DOS Games!

Alright guys and gals, time to own up and show your true age. How many of these DOS games have you played in your lifetime? Are there any other greats ones that didn't make the list?

In today's world of behemoth games weighing in from 15 GB to 55 GB, it blows the mind that these games were only 1.4 MB. Well, sometimes a little bit Insert next disk and press any key to continue... more.

 

 

From that list I've played Battle Chess, Commander Keen (now available on Steam btw), Grand Prix 2, Jazz Jackrabbit, Lemmings, Sim City 2000, Stunts, and of course Tetris.

 

Some other good old games i can remember include SkyRoads, Prince of Persia, and Liero.

I remember the first time my uncle loaded up SimCity 2000 on his new computer and I was like this is so cool: 'haha I can unleash disasters on them!' I wasn't always evil mind you. :susp:

Theme Hospital has to be one of the best games ever imo.

There are definitely some games on that list that I would rather play than some of the AAA titles coming out these days. Only Fallout and GTA are the exception to that at the moment.

I didn't know GTA 1 was a DOS game. I'm not including it in my list because I guess I played the windows version.

I'm far too young (:cheeky:) to have played most of these, but I did play SimCity at my friends house, his older brother showed us how :lol: I've played Wolfenstein and Tomb Raider on DOS (emulator) in recent years, but that probably doesn't count :lol:
