The weather is changing on the TDU server, it looks like the weather is happening for all players

TDU platnium is black screen and crashing for me. Can't get to the main menu. I tried running it as administrator, changed the compatibility mod, disabled fx tweak, i tried running the mod with and without the 1.2 patch.. nothing. The game itself is running fine without platnium. And yes the tdu.exe is properly selected through the project paradise launcher.

I've been trying to run this for 2 days.and i've lost all my patience. I gave up probably 10 times so far.

Does anyone know if you have to re-copy the HD Unlimited patch from the Extras of v1.0 after patching to v1.21? Or is it not necessary anymore?

I’m just confused because the Extras folder in v1.21 doesn’t include HD anymore but the files in question do get replaced when you patch.

Check your system for viruses and errors. You can also use the system restore function and check the disk on which the game is installed for errors.

@manqka21 Search for "black" at https://internetlifeforum.com/showthread.php?5175-How-to-run-TDU1-on-Windows-10 (there are multiple occurrences) and if not works, try uninstalling, delete data from all folders of TDU (having backup of your profile obviously - if you have one established), and follow exactly steps on that page and post the feedback if something worked and mention what that was...

try delete test drive unlimited folder on your documents folder ,its always works for me

Playing with this mod collection i encountered some issues with cars like the McLaren Senna. Switching gears from 6 to 7th the gear ratios are unable to sustain the actual speed and the car start to slow down by 60/70 Km/h. This happens to some others cars/supercars at top gear, but i don't remember wich ones atm.

Someone has a fixed car database to share somewhere!? I play only offline.

The only occasion where i was able to use a proper trigger brake/accel and analog sticks with this game was when using a xbox360 controller on Windows. 

On my Steam Deck (where i play this game mostly) had to play around with controller configurations quite alot, the game recognizes the analog sticks (they are not smooth by the way and tends to give cars a rough spin on corners), but with the triggers you have to manually set them as ANALOG  in the Deck configuration and like the sticks, the area between the system detects an half pull to a full pull is somewhat short.

With my ps5 controller on SD is exactly the same, i don't have a x360 controller anymore.

This doesn't work, at least not for me. 

I had to use DS4Windows, DSX or Steam to translate my DirectInput DualSense to a Xbox360 XInput. 

However, you can't set everything up just like the console because some of them must have overlapped mapping and the PC version won't allow that. Is it modable to the point to allow the game to map more than command to the same input? Cus that would save us a lot of trouble.

I'm using the official Xbox 360 TDU manual as a reference to map everything.

For me gears down and up have to be in lmb (down) and rmb (up) like if they were the paddles of a real car. It is the most intuitive thing for me.

I totally get it. Thing is I just tried to make it as close as possible to the original mapping. But I will definitely try to create a modern aproach. I have already tweaked it a little bit further so it's even more intuitive and will share once it's ready.

I've made a few tweaks on my steam input setup and will update my post with all details and how to use it. I made it easier to use and with more features.

I will work on a modern approach soon.

I just updated the post about the controller fix, guys! The post itself with the instructions is still WIP. However, the Steam Input is ready and there is enough info on the post already to make it work!
