    The Sims 3's quality has shown some beautiful rendering tho to the franchise, should try it if you aint already ;)

      Really enjoying it so far, I'm loving throwing old cars about in the snow, there's a great sense of atmosphere and it actually looks cold. There's been a few occasions where I've wondered how I died during a mission but I guess someone luckily shot me in the head.

       

      The lack of Free-Ride like you had in the original is kind of annoying although you could probably treat the unlimited time you get between going to the next mission as your Free-Ride time.

       

      I also got to play it briefly before it was officially released in Europe thanks to the method mentioned earlier. I got one achievement then decided to go to bed because I could hardly see anything :p

        I like the premise of Mafia II, but in terms of controls and such, I think GTAIV is just that bit more polished. The camera movements in the demo were really wonky and I had bit of a headache by the time I got to the end. The controls with a Xbox360 gamepad just aren't really good
