I organised a cruise for our TDU:C PC members, as a celebration that S71NG3R and Mb had returned to TDU, and also because the day of the cruise was Speed's birthday.

 

I used a DVD Recorder to film the cruise (2hrs 10mins), and edited it down to 15mins (which was about all there was of decent footage ;))

If you can't tell I'm pleased with my result, hence the amount of text ;) But the I have spent about 7hrs on mixing the songs, ripping, tranfering files, editing the clips and exporting. I spent quite a bit of time editing the video to fit to the music (which I thing went really well) Plus a new track of music signifies another stage or road type.

 

All the music was edited by me, even the intro of the trailer which the sound was moved, and shortened to fit with the video and the 'I gotta feeling there's gunna be a riot' thingy ;)

The better quality videos are 95mb each on .mpg format. I will upload to 123.videos today as that has a very good video quality.

 

E: I am currently rendering into .avi and going upload to youtube t find best quality mix. :)

 

E: AVI says that it will be 52mb, but its gets to about 40% and says their is insuffiencent space on my HDD, and i look ta the avi file, and it's 10gb! :S

 

EEE: *added link to part 1 on 123.video. Much better quality, but it has distorted it :mad: so i'll have to re-render from Vegas without the black sides.

Because Speed wrote the car list and I didnt bother to check it because it looked liek everyone was there. What car was he in, so I can add it. And before you say it, he isn't on the video credits either because I didn't know his GameSpy when I made the video.

Yes that does. I'm going to organise one for Saturday 17th November. I think. IDK what restirctions there will be again. But friday night's one was really good with no restrictions, as most people chose B class rather than n00bish A class :p

 

Maybe an Italian cruise as Nov 17th is the date the Italy got thier natioanl anthem (according to Wikipedia)

 

Or maybe a Mercedes cruise, as I havnt been on one yet.

Why were you asking btw. And also I tired rendering from Vegas with .avi.

 

It says it will be 52mb for 5 mins. Then I render, all is fine until around 30%, then it says insuffiencet disc space. I look at the avi file, and it's 10gb! :O

 

so I tried a 2 min clip, that was about 2gb. And WMP wont play it, as something is wrong with the format. another windo pops up displaying the files rate at which it's playing :s

I was asking to see what filesizes per minute you were getting. When you output from Vegas it will have a default profile and usually this is for HD or VCD quality video. What you need to do is select Configure or Custom and then mess around with the settings. Search for tutorials in DivX, XviD, h264 etc with Vegas. There should be some good tutorials around for that.

Couldn't distinguish him in any of the videos so couldn't find out how to spell his name and also couldn't remember anything from the car apart from that it was black and really laggy so just left him off the list. Sorry Lol.
