Anyone tried connecting at this moment? It's 12:11am here and I don't have any intentions of sleeping. I want to play TD:U but then this crap happens!

Except all hardcore mode manages to do is make every car understeer ridiculously... I'm sure most 600 HP cars in real life with traction & stability control off, would be much harder to control, with less understeer and more chassis movement.

I wonder.. I always play in HC and without aids, I wonder what it would feel like going to n00b mode and turning all the aids back on :D

Horrible. I do it occasionly to try and do some more missions. But then I crash, get angry, scream at my PC lots and go back to Hardcore mode. Then get even agrier 'cause I've gone screaming into a corner three times the speed I should be :p

Hardcore mode was very simple to create for Atari. I am pretty sure they only reduced gravity and nothing else. That forces you to enter in corners at lower speed, starting braking at a much longer distance of the corner. One other thing, you can almost fly when going at +300km/h on a road with bumps.

What is very cool, is Hardcore Mode on the track, with no electronical assistance (I find it better, even if I play with keyboard hehe^^).
