I would love for a lighthouse situation like that to be true (and some not-as-dramatic version probably is), but it seems like one of those "True Notes From Pilots and Mechanics of *your nation here* Airlines!" Which can be funny, but probably aren't real.

 

Of course, I would put it past the US Navy to go up against a lighthouse. :rolleyes:
