What the hell is an Alpina B3?

 

Its an Alpina tuned Beemer.

The only difference is that it has a stupid name on it?

It has a 355bhp engine too, which is most than all but the M3 spec 3 series.

 

I quite like Alpina's (Not a fan of some of their rims though), they're rather understated unlike most other tuning houses.

Should have said up there it's a cabrio so it's rare-ish. Totally with you on the wheels, they have 2 and I'm not a huge fan of either. We also saw an Estate B3 which I believe is even rarer. Alex has the pics.

Those rims don't seem that bad actually, silver isn't a very flattering colour for the 3 series though.

It's an Alpina, not a BMW. Alpina is it's own brand, just like RUF isn't a Porsche.

So does that mean for game licensing we could have Alpina in place of BMW, like we get RUF in place of Porsche?

I don't think so. On their official site they keep talking about BMW ALPINA and close corporation with the BMW group. So I think licensing would be an issue since those lines make me think they're not as independent as RUF or Brabus.

Ford Focus RS. In white and looks much better than that stupid green colour. I'm guessing it's also been lol-mapped as well because it says something about 370BHP in a few places unless it's owned by a chav who's been to Halfrauds recently.

Don't ask me. Some Alpinas have Alpina badges, others have BMW badges. But i've seen RUFs with Porsche badges so... DUNNO :D

Ah, the good old days. I remember when we weren't allowed to take our phones to school at all. Anyone who did had them taken off. Except that didn't really work as we all just used to shout abuse at the teacher and get sent out, then we'd just have a chat outside the classroom haha
