I just downloaded photoshop dds plugin here http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photoshop_dds_plugins.html#downloads and installed but my photoshop have nothing changed, I've tried on both c and d drive but still no different.

Yes. It's possible. Don't know for sure wheter that was the rim or the tire-sidewall in the picture, but i made a lamborghini rim with black and chrome spokes ones. How the red would display..... only one way to find out I'd say...

I think I downloaded it ages ago. I don't have it left though. I can swear there used to be another thread for exterior mods, that does not exist any more. :oook:

pardon the digging, but i tried my hand at coloring rims for the first time today (:cheeky:) and got stuck at the last bit.

 

was trying to color my Nissan GT-R (the one tool made here) rim a dark black. am currently using it on the Merc CLK-GTR, so after i did all that was instructed in the video, converting it from DDS to 2DB and saving, i got "CLK_GTR_F_01.bnk.bak". i tried changing the file extension to .bnk, but when popped back into the TDU folder my rims were still grey. :(

 

anyone's tried it before and can help? :cheeky:

was just wondering if there was any way to put the silver brabus rims on the SLR?

 

i tried just swaping the files over and all i got was an slr with no rims and 4 masive hpouse sized rims either side of the car . . . .

 

any suggestions?

Yeahm did the whole thing as far as possible (just texture modding) but the rimms didn't work out so it never got release really....
