why must most threads end up becoming as a discussion thread. OP just wanted thoughts on two phones, not a war on ugly moto phones.

Nokia N95, had it for about 8 months now and its still surviving (which is amazing for me). Theres so many extra applications for it that you can download for free. I'm on a t mobile contract so i'll renew to the N96 in September or October

 

Out of those two phones, i'd go for the Sony. Samsung are good phones but their line of touch screen phones are a bit iffy. Some things on them are brilliant, others are useless and the cameras not usually as good as the Sony
