GTA Disc Crash

Recently my GTA has been acting like garbage, when i go on the dashboard, it says GTA IV and i start the game, but when it says that 2007-2008 Rockstar crap, it freezes. Any Ideas why, the disc isn't scratched much...

All it can take is a small scratch to stop a disc from working so that may be it

Its not the same :( I have tried lots of things right now to fix it, toothpaste, bananas, erasers and wax. Nothing works, might have to buy a new one.

You peel the banana and smudge it around the disk and then clean it, i was desperate so i would have done anything. :D

If there is a scratch on it use toothpaste it works a treat, if you don't believe me search for toothpaste on this forum and there should be a couple of threads about it.

I have tried that, it just created more scratches. I'll give it another shot maybe, going to buff it out tomorrow if i can find a video store.

I would have exchanged it but lately I am sooo close to a disciplianary its unbelievable (yeah, you don't wanna know :o !) so I did it the legit way and know I have two copies of the game :p.
