This week we celebrate Porsche's 60th anniversary.

On June 8 it will be exactly 60 years since the first prototype for Porsche received its official homologation for road use. Back then it's unlikely anyone would have any idea of the impact the German car would have in the motoring world. Porsche is so powerful today that it is the biggest single shareholder in Volkswagen, truly a case of David taking on Goliath. The sports cars it has produced in the sixty years of its existence are all special - some more than others though. Here we highlight our five of the best.
