Finally an R8, nice work. That last photo has something nice about it. I had to wait 2 weeks on hold for my R8 to show up, the Social Club is ultra fail.

I did the 5000 miles about 2 weeks ago I think, and that was my last one to do, so not sure how long it took as I only noticed the R8 yesterday, weird it takes various amounts of time for different people.

I was just waiting for the entire 2 weeks wondering if it would ever show up, or that the Social Club was lying to me. Currently I'm upto 8574miles.

So can anyone tell me the requirements for the R8? I haven't yet registered to the Xbox site so I don't have a gamertag to link @ the social club. And are there any other cars you can get from there?

If you don't link you gamertag to the R* Social Club, you will not be able to get the R8!

It is worth sorting that out, even if you've only got a silver XBL account.

Complete 4 and you'll get hydraulics and airbags. (pretty crappy really... I never use them)

Complete 8 and you'll get some TIS Modular rims

Complete all 12 and... I forget what you get then!? ;)

Well the game statistics say that I wrecked my car 251 times but the damn Social Club says I wrecked 150 :(

 

Edit: Does Nitrous count as one of the 5000 uses, someone before said that it worked

yep they do count

just go online create a private cruise,go to the beach and tape down the nitrous so you keep going in to the water and just leave it for a few hours.:)

Yep that's what I did. I left the PS3 on with tape down on the nitrous button overnight. I'm now up to 19377 (stupid 9) special uses. My current stats are in this format:

 

* Earn $1,000,000

* Drive 5000 miles

Social Club is renowned for slow update times.

 

Yes nitrous does count towards you special uses.

There are two garages opposite each other near the church in the north... they make it really easy to mount up you uses their. Just drive between the 2 of them igniting at each crossing. Do this online and there'll be no trafic to get in your way either. :)
