There is no specific photomode (that I know of) so you can either Print Screen and save in Photoshop, or use FRAPS to take screenshots of the game (like I did).

Iced, what graphics tweak do you use?I usually stutter alot in GTA IV although i have a HD4870 ...

@me™, I remember this one. In VC there was a Patriot aswell and it was a copy of Humvee and now it`s a copy of H3...Rockstar could have done better :cheeky:

This game needs more from your processor than from your videocard. The requirement is a quad core, so thats why it doesnt run smooth.

So, i tried to read that tweak but it's a problem. Where is commandline.txt or if i have to create it where should i put it??IIts such a hard guide...

LE:Resolved it.What i get is more stutter...i think i should've chose the GTX260 instead of this ATi

Its your processor not your gfx card which is making you lag.

Also ATi 4870 > GTX260.

You have to create commandline.txt

It doesnt matter what card (like Austin said) its just because you dont have a quad core.

I think it's my ram. The cpu is at 3.6Ghz so i really don't think so :)

Probably a combination of both. Believe me I had a dual core which was 3hz and an 8800gts and couldn't run it at all without lag. But upgrading my processor changed things a lot and i'm one notch from running it flat out!

I am getting a CPU cooler soon enough and i think i'll be keeping it at 'bout 4Ghz:)

Actually I turned the graphics down to low there, fps drops with all settings on low, 800x600 :( *saves up to i7 and 6gb DDR3 ram*

My motherboard has the right sockets for an AMD Phenom quad core, but the mobo itself was made before the Phenoms even existed... Not too sure about that one...

The Patriot must be the closest thing to a monster truck in GTA IV.:D
