    Ultima Leak a Forza? We all know there has been plenty of hear-say and hints that Forza Horizon 2 is probably in development at Playground Games, from LinkedIn profiles last year and Playground themselves saying they were working on an "...exciting, unannounced project for Xbox One" the clues are all there. And now we have yet another, and also a possible release from a likely source in Ultima Sports Ltd (how often do car makers leak this stuff?), who via a post on their Facebook - which has since been removed - have announced that they can't 'stop smiling and twerking' (may have made that up) after agreeing to a new contract with Microsoft for a "new video game to be launched later in 2014". We are assuming this to be Forza Horizon 2 and not Project Gotham Racing 5 though either would be very nice! Both would be bloody fantastic!! With a statement of 2014 it's going to be a busy year for the racing enthusiast whatever their taste what with; The Crew, Project CARS, DRIVECLUB, BeamNG DRIVE, Assetto Corsa, [the next] Need for Speed and now Forza Horizon 2 it is most definitely a good time to be a fan of the racing genre. The matter of Horizon 2 no doubt being exclusive to Xbox One also raises the fact that it could well be a system seller - Microsoft are obviously pinning their hopes on Titanfall doing that after splashing the cash to 'money hat' exclusivity to the Xbox consoles and PC - as there's many a people out there who like nothing less than the glorious visuals of a racer to sway them into buying new hardware. Could the end of 2014 see a bit of a skirmish between Horizon 2 and The Crew? Well at least on Xbox One it certainly looks like it could be. Thanks - videogamer.com | worldsfactory.net

    Anyone find that there are a lot more jobs/races/captures etc around now after this action was taken? Noticed less tanks taking everything out, still enjoy taking it out though and there is a lot more chasing of the armoured trucks and crates I've noticed too. Game is kind of fun again. :D

    Hey mate, I'm alive ....I think ...yeah I am! RESULT!! That's cool about the LaFterrari if the Caparo T1 is making waves to the mod shore beach. One question though; will the setting fire to the driver be an option on it? :)

    Wow that was so good and that environment flows so very well and looks great in any light. The engine sound and movement of the car both in the play-view and replay made be unable to stop watching, and that long-view near the end with the car lights showing before the car did, then following it along the road was quality. Thanks for sharing that! Upped my hype level for the game another ten-fold. :D

    This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read by you. This is a community done on their own time project, there is no set deadline. If you don't like how much time is progressing then why not stump up the funds and give them a deadline to work to. Then you can berate and moan all you like but until that happens shush! and let them get on with it.

    AI meet AC A new update to the Assetto Corsa (AC) Beta comes tomorrow and along with this will be an upgrade to include a "taste" of AI in certain special event quick races. As you can tell it's not a full roll-out and is for all intents and purposes a means of testing how the AI performs on the multiple configuration of systems and hardware that players will have. As Kunos' own Aristotelis Vasilakosn says: For this first AI update, we won't give you the complete grid AI enabled. There will only be some special events quick races, with some cars on some tracks that will give you a taste as I said of Ai races. I know that everybody wants the full monty, but I'm also sure that you understand that we need to test the performance of the AI on various systems, check for bugs, improve it and so on. It is far easier for us to do so on some specific scenarios, than having to control the whole Assetto Corsa grid at once. For those of you more interested in just enjoying the sublime handling and physics of AC you'll be glad to hear some new cars are coming via the update as well as a contradictory 'subtle' "complete rework of our tyre model". How something can be completely re-worked and be subtle we don't know but we have faith in Kunos and look forward to seeing what they bring.     Thanks for your impressions postcd, and yeah the engine sounds except for a small few have always been a down-point in the TDU games. You guys on PC have the benefit of the sound modders though to rectify this. :)

    Yeah it certainly doesn't pay to be too trusting. Also when did they change (or did they change?) that Passive mode means you can get shot in your vehicle?

    I wasn't saying you were wrong if you like it, I was saying that there are more people criticising the handling than anything else. Unfortunately modding the physics of TDU 2 is still something that can't be done to a more comfortable level, it's being worked upon but it's clearly not a simple switch. I'm not a it has to be full-sim and realistic only kind of player, I can take many handling models and have played everything from Pole Position, Ridge Racer, V-Rally, ToCA Touring Cars, WRC, Rally Sport, PGR 2/3/4, Super Mario Kart, NFS I-HP2, GT 1-5, Forza 1-4/Horizon, GTR 1/2, Race Pro and many more so I'm certainly not only interested in just the ONE style. However when the previous game has a definite focus on the driving but the sequel effectively moves away from that, then it's certainly to be expected when people bring it up. And it isn't just the veterans of the series who were saying it, look around at the reviews and you will see the driving being one of the main areas that they talk about in a not so glorified manner.
