  1. Yep I concur, that is what those images are showing. Carry on.
  2. Yes but Forza is under Microsoft and as we've seen all too often, they are not ones to shy away from nickel-and-diming their fanbase. In fact that loyal fanbase is to it's own detriment as they eat up all that is put in front of them which probably makes this worthwhile. And it's only when enough people say stop or vent about it will companies take notice. Maybe you had to grow up in the DLC culture to truly not be annoyed by it but it really does piss me off the price they charge for a slither of what the full game provides. If you remember Expansion Packs then you know they were typically a 1/3 of the price of the full game but actually provided you with that amount of content too, otherwise they got left on the shelf.
  3. OMG that last shot is , shame about the compression though. :(
  4. The general feeling was after March I believe as it is a big month for games.
  5. It shouldn't affect that, however it depends on if they want to move our old pants server to their shiny new jacket. Like I said I'll keep you guys all informed should anything change or our pants become too old and noisy to be used.
  6. Hey there folks, our host is awesome in many ways but with awesomesauce comes great flavours and the more you eat the more you grow and when you just keep growing you become too big for your jacket. This is what has happened with our host, as they've ran out of pockets to keep the servers in, so they are having to leave the old one and try on a brand spanking new one with many more pockets and then placing all the servers and such in again. This jacket migration process is scheduled to start at 10PM on Thursday the 9th January and should last hopefully until no more than 6AM the following Friday on the 10th. So please make your arrangements for our unavailability, sleeping tablets, falling head-first on concrete or maybe just going outside and playing with pigeons ....oh wait you could go and feed some ducks! Yeah so, we'll see you when we've warmed up in our new jacket pocket on Friday. As always follow us on facebook or twitter to be kept informed about what's going on. Cheers! turboduck Team didr;wtf: Host is Migrating Datacentres so turboduck will be offline during the process.
  7. Saw this was posted on reddit via twitter and thought it was worth a post. DRIVECLUB could be coming quicker than we thought! There was already an inkling that it was close as there was rumblings that the game was going to be available for the Japanese launch of the PS4, which if you don't know is happening on February 22nd. The game will be available as a full-price title as well as being FREE to PSPlus Members via a 'PSPlus Edition', which is a slightly cut down version with less cars and tracks. Those people wanting the full experience though, can pay to upgrade to the complete version. Thanks reddit (PS4)
  8. 2014 is shaping up to be a good year for PS4 and that's only with what we do know about. inFAMOUS Second Son is showing a hell of a lot of promise and DRIVECLUB is just looking so good it's really hard not to worry about the game in other aspects, though to be fair to them what they have been showing after the delay was announced is looking amazing. The new Thief and MGS will hopefully bring back proper stealth based games and Planetside 2 is going to be epic if they can match it on PC not only in getting decent visuals but also the frantic wide open battle arenas the game is known for. Not to mention The Order 1886 and that zombie "survival horror" (oh please let that be true) that was shown is really making me think back to the good old PS1 days where these IP's and genre's essentially took off. I'd love to have a PS4 in 2014, whether that will happen or not we'll need to wait and see.
  9. I'd take Forza's delicious sounds over many more cars any day though, I can't enjoy a game if the sound is crap.
  10. Wrong place so moved. Titles = Thread content. Simple.
  11. New News = New Thread :cheeky: They can be excused for certain cars if they are new or needed re-done for the game, but having ones such as the Reventon mentioned above just seems so unsavoury as even Turn 10 said that AutoVista was a test for the next-gen of car models.
  12. Bringing IGN The New Year to Forza 5 Forza Motorsport 5 and IGN have again teamed up for the release of the first monthly Car Pack DLC for the Xbox One exclusive racer. The 10 car pack as expected contains a real mix of types, from the absolute classics such as the Ferrari 250 California and Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage to the cult icons such as the Peugeot 205 T16, Ford Escort RS1800 - and for the Japanese Drift fans - the Nissan Fairlady Z 432 as well as a couple of 'normal' entries. There are a number of let's say "old friends" too including the Ferrari 575 Maranello and Lamborghini Reventon but to be honest you can't really expect a brand new generation launch game to compete with former entries in the series in terms of quantity so we can let them off a bit for it. The full list is below as well as a trailer showing the cars in action. The pack is available now for $10 or the equivalent in your currency, as well as the option of a Car Pass for $49.99/£39.99 which will give access to six DLC packs saving you a total of 18% over buying each pack on its own. 2013 Caterham Superlight R500 1961 Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage 2013 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG 1977 Ford Escort RS1800 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello 2008 Lamborghini Reventón 1957 Ferrari 250 California 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432 1984 Peugeot 205 T16 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ3hMEOqUHw Thanks IGN & ForzaMotorsport.net Follow the discussion about Forza on our forums and even join in and share your Forzatography!
  13. Small Update: On the official The Crew facebook to kick off 2014 they posted the RAID version of the BMW Z4 so it has been added to the list.
  14. The Ferrari TheFerrari If there's one thing a racing game can do to grab your attention it is show a sleek hot Italian rear end... and I was going to use this as an excuse to post an image of exactly that, but unfortunately when Kunos Simulazioni do it to show what is coming to their Assetto Corsa racing-sim, they do so with a Ferrari. So I guess this rear-end will have to do, not that many of you will complain of course. The latest premium addition to the Modena stable of Prancing Horse's will be coming as a free content update to version 1.0 which is due to hit some time this year.
  15. It's good to BTCC a sim-racer Image Space Incorporated (ISI) have released their latest add-on of the Honda Civic Touring Car for their incredibly popular rFactor 2 racing-sim. Fans of the infamous British Touring Car Championship - or BTCC as it's more widely known amongst its followers - will recognise some of the liveries being sported on the cars. Starting with the Honda Yuasa Racing Team we have Matt Neal and Gordon 'Flash' Shedden's NGTC (Next Generation Touring Car) Civics, both of whom are BTCC Champions with Shedden winning most recently with his first title in 2012 and the veteran racer Neal having won the series three times in 2005, 2006 and 2011! And that's not where the the mentions of 'Honda' and 'winning' end either, as along with the 'Works' team, players will also be available to race around in the current BTCC Driver's Champion 'Pirtek' Civic driven by Andrew Jordan. Being a Civic it's obviously a Front-Wheel Drive car but don't let that put you off as these cars are built for handling and if you watch any racing then you will know how much a good setup matters in allowing the driver to stick to the racing line and hug those apexes. Included in the download is a touching tribute from Tim Wheatley at ISI for his grandfather, with two AI cars showing as being sponsored by the 'RAF Benevolent Fund'. In memory of my grandfather, Kenneth Minard, our A.I. opponents include two cars ‘sponsored’ by the RAF Benevolent Fund. Both Honda and the RAFBF kindly agreed to allow this, to raise awareness and to allow me to connect this British touring car with something ‘back home’. – Tim Wheatley, ISI The car and more info can be found at http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/rf2dl/honda-civic-ngtc-touring-car/ Thanks rfactor.net [gallery size=gallery-thumbnail" itemtag="div" icontag="span" link="file" columns="4]

  19. That is definitely a colour you don't see much on BMW's but one I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more of! Great scotts Hailstone. :hmmm:
  20. Has that R34 had it's teeth whitened? :D
  21. Damn Ken nice shots man, that last shot threw me off though as it looks like the bike is just floating in mid-air until you see the wall behind it.
