  2. Very nice again, you got your own style with your pics and you make it work in places. :p And there's no needing to question why you find that night image appealing at all as it is a superb pic due to the lighting and surroundings.
  3. Assetto Corsa Console Pre-order Bonus DLC & JDM Packs The pre-order bonus DLC and ‘Japanese Pack’ is heading to Assetto Corsa on PlayStation 4 and (maybe) the Xbox One this week. Well at least it looks that way as the EU PS blog has the items listed in their coming this week post whereas the Microsoft Store has a couple of the items available to view on their store with only one showing the same date of release as that of Sony. The ‘Prestige Pack’ is listed as coming to PS4 October 6th with the ‘Japanese Pack’ and ‘Performance Pack’ due the following day on October 7th. Xbox One is, at this time only showing the Prestige with a date of October 7th. The ‘Performance Pack’ and ‘Prestige Pack’ were available as a pre-order bonus when you ordered the game from certain retailers and entitled the player to download three vehicles with the Performance and nine with the Prestige. As both of these packs look like they will be up for purchase, make sure to realise that the Prestige contains an extra SIX cars on top of the THREE that make up the Performance Pack. UPDATE://1 - From a posting made on the official Assetto Corsa forums it does appear that both PS4 and Xbox One will receive these packs this week and that the 'Prestige Pack' will be the main one available to buy from their respective stores. Players who pre-ordered and received the three-car 'Performance Pack' as a bonus will be able to take advantage of a "Performance Upgrade" option enabling them to grab the remaining six cars that they do not have. Please note: if you pre-ordered Assetto Corsa then you will be able to buy the remaining 6 cars from the Prestige pack in the Performance Upgrade pack which launches tomorrow too! - official Assetto Corsa forum I repeat: Do not buy both the Performance and Prestige Pack as you will be buying the same content twice due to the cars in the first pack also being included in the other. Performance Pack – Content The below three vehicles are included in the Prestige Pack too! Audi R8 V10 Plus Corvette C7 Stingray Ferrari 488 GTB Prestige Pack – Content Audi A1 S1 Audi R8 V10 Plus BMW M4 Coupe Corvette C7 Stingray Ferrari 488 GTB Ford Mustang 2015 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Nissan GT-R Nismo 2015 Toyota GT86 Up next is the very well received 'Japanese Pack' that came out for PC a good while ago. Shown in the (PC) image below, this car pack is made up of six individual cars though dedicated Time Attack, Tuned and Drift tuned versions of some of the cars take this total amount to twelve. All the fan favourites are here: Toyota AE86 Trueno, Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 along with the ever playful Mazda MX-5. Sure to provide all types of JDM enthusiast with fun no matter what discipline they prefer. 4. Woah, that is a peach of a pic! Can just imagine the sound of it too.
  5. You are so wrong mate, these pics are quality! Like how you went for an E46 and have very tastefully styled it. And the second Raptor shot is excellent. :)
  6. It's only the vote that is on at the moment, the next time for putting an entry in will be next week. :)
  7. The Lambo and Rolls pic is awesome! Love the speed depicted in it. :coolspot:
  8. Police to Meet You The roads of Australia are about to get even more chaotic, exotic and perhaps even more respectful with the release of 'The Smoking Tire Car Pack' for Forza Horizon 3. Featuring what we would call a quite fantastic selection of seven new-to-Forza vehicles, this first main DLC pack for the game is going to be a popular one. Within its line up are hypercars, supercars, sportscars, a wily off-roader and even the de facto Police cruiser – complete with optional light bar and siren! https://youtu.be/64srpn7V4BU Whoever is collating these lists of cars for release and inclusion keep at it as you are SMASHING IT!! Starting with the Aston Martin ‘Vulcan’ the auto-makers entry into the continually growing hypercar market you may be expecting something with pointy ears and a logical way of working. Well it does look kind of alien-like but in fact this Vulcan is in homage to the British bomber aircraft of the same name. [caption id=attachment_5576" align="alignnone" width="800] 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan in Forza Horizon 3[/caption] Only 24 of these track-only (boo!) vehicles will be built and if you watched the episode of Top Gear where Chris Harris drove the nuts off one, you will know that its 800 hp V12 screams ferociously. Next up is the lightweight tarmac rocket of the Lotus 340R and you just know from the pedigree of the brand that this car will eat up turns and stick to the tarmac like a super-glued frog to a bus. (huh?) If the Vulcan is out of your price range but you still want something that will blow your mind on the track then this is one of the best vehicles out there to scratch that itch. [caption id=attachment_5581" align="alignnone" width="800] 2000 Lotus 340R in Forza Horizon 3[/caption] Looking more like the legendary Zonda with every new iteration that comes, the Pagani Huayra BC is now looking like it should have done from day one (imo). It’s shape and looks have always been a bit of a love or hate thing and its sound is a far cry off from the ear-pleasing stabbing that the Zonda produced. Nonetheless the BC named after Benny Caiola (I hate Bennys because of Carlito’s Way) who was one of the first customers of Pagani and close friend of Horatio (YEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHH! not that one) will see only 20 models produced. [caption id=attachment_5582" align="alignnone" width="800] 2016 Pagani Huayra BC in Forza Horizon 3[/caption] With all those racing around at high-speed and with no regard for the inhabitants of the virtual lands it seems only right that some Johnny Law makes an appearance. Whether players choose to go unmarked or all out in full police branding, the choice is theirs as brilliantly Playground Games have provided an optional bumper, light bar and siren for players to live out there nofunallowed.jpg fantasies! [caption id=attachment_5578" align="alignnone" width="800] 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor in Forza Horizon 3[/caption] GTA Spano, no it’s not the title of the next Grand Theft Auto but instead a Spanish automaker who decided to create their own supercar and with a top speed of 230mph it looks like they did a decent job. With looks that are different enough not to be called out as copying from others but with typical lines that you will find in other makes, the Spano is making quite the entrance. [caption id=attachment_5579" align="alignnone" width="800] 2016 GTA Spano in Forza Horizon 3[/caption] The ‘Ultimate Driving Machine’ is the tagline of BMW and rightly so as they are brilliant drivers. Well the cars and their handling are not so much those sitting behind the wheel. Reviews for the M2 Coupe are very positive, in fact the M2 gets compared to the original E30 M3 and when you see them together you will know why. Piloting this thing through the roads, fields and in the air should be a lot of fun. [caption id=attachment_5577" align="alignnone" width="800] 2016 BMW M2 Coupé in Forza Horizon 3[/caption] With all that openness that is available it makes perfect sense to have a dedicated off-roader that can climb the steep inclines, tackle the uneven terrain and speed across the sandy beaches and the Jeep CJ5 Renegade is here to make that happen. With customisation this could turn out to be a real gem for everything you wish to do off the tarmac. [caption id=attachment_5580" align="alignnone" width="800] 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade[/caption] The Smoking Tire Car Pack for Forza Horizon 3 is available now and is included for those with the Car Pass.
  9. Top stuff as always mau. The Ferrari suits being off-road with the way you've captured it.
  10. You're getting noticed by some influential people Soul and that shout out for calling your game 'Nightmare Fuel' is a good one! [media=twitter]782577785843965952[/media] Have to thank you so much for sharing this with us. You are extremely talented and it is great to see it being seen by more of the main people.
  11. There's an update coming and if you're on a non-up-to-date Windows 10 version then you may find the game trying to redownload itself in its entirety again so be sure to have your system as stated below.
  12. Hey there Mike(2 (there is a Mike on our staff too(he is also called Myk though)))(so many brackets - why?) and welcome to the :duck: and thanks for letting us know you are 15 years and 7 months old. :p It's funny thinking that the age you are now was around the same as many of our longtime members here and now they have (somewhat) matured and went on to drinking and better things. :D I'd be careful on your language, we don't like to see the sweary stuff here as all ages visit so keep an eye on that please. The game is a bit of a yo-yo in terms of being online anyway so will anyone notice when it does go down for good or will they just think 'this is the longest downtime ever?' Great to have you and nice one on noticing our little easter egg type thing in the terms.
  13. That Wraith shot is quite stunning, very reminiscent of a magazine shot and those latest night shots are superb! :btup
  14. Free Porsche! The team behind Assetto Corsa continue to tease about the upcoming Porsche pack and if there is one word we hardly ever hear in respect to downloadable ‘Porsche’ content, it is ‘free’. With Kunos Simulazioni though, this is in fact what is happening as by way of Marco Massarutto, the Licensing Manager at Kunos responding to a question on twitter last week, it has been revealed that there will be a Porsche Panamera, Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Macan given away at no cost! https://twitter.com/Markus72k/status/780301766638374912 If above not available click for screencap Of course there will be some who will see this trio as not being true Porsches but they are certainly some of the most popular and best selling. And as PC players have known for a while and those on console have recently found out, big heavy vehicles like the Maserati Levante SUV can be quite fun to toss around at high speeds. The Porsche pack is very likely to be out this month (October) and will contain a number of cars not often seen in games along with the more common beetles.
  15. Porsche Packed It is of no wonder that Kunos seem to be enjoying teasing their community with the frequent release of new media and comments in regards to the Assetto Corsa Porsche pack. Over the past few weeks they have dropped images showing what is known as the ‘Holy Trinity’’ – consisting of the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder. This super treble of hypercars is seen as the peak of automotive excellence today. There have also been images of the 991 Carrera S, the rear light of a Boxster 718 and a real world example shown of the 935/78 'Moby Dick' along with an exciting sharing of Porsche Motorsport’s tweet about the new 911 GT3 Cup car. In all there is looking to be a total of 24 Porsches to come over the two three packs, which is a fine amount and will also see some of the lesser known examples hitting the virtual tarmac for the first in a long time or for the first time ever in an official capacity. Being that Assetto Corsa was noticed by Porsche and then asked to create an environment in which to showcase their vehicles virtually, it is a massive gold star to the team and sets up a perfect pairing for sim-racing fans. For once players on all current platforms will be able to partake in the joy of a simulation racer that contains the best that Porsche offered in the past and does so today. Let's just hope the cost of it is reasonable.
  16. Immense shot of the Audi doing what it was born to do sir.
  17. Nice shot, you need to give the lens a clean though. Got some marks and dust on it. :p
  18. "Right lads, let's get him!" That looks so funny when they all leap out and race over to beat on the player car, seems dangerous too as the driver doesn't seem to care about their well-being and then them running like madmen at the end as the car starts to make a break for it. I can just imagine the sound effects in that moment and it's making me laugh. :p
  19. Cool cars and good to see an R33 out on the roads for a change! :D
  20. The Dino suits that colour and the stradale(?) stripe really well.
  21. [headline]BIG UPDATE![/headline] You guys asked and I said I would do my best to make it happen and despite wanting to get it done for Forza Horizon 3's release yesterday, taking the extra time was the right choice. So what am I on about? Well for those of you who have access to the Gallery (ie not banned from it)... 1) As obvious as it is, having the ability to post multiple files at once was something you all asked for and wanted badly. Well now you have it! Depending on your activity on the :duck: you will have either one, two or three options available to you to use. 2) YouTube videos can be added by entering in a typical url: youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXXXX and youtu.be/XXXXXXXXXXX recommended but others will work too. :D 3) Another one you guys wanted was quick approval of the media. Well now if you have over 100 posts your media will be auto-approved on successful submission. We are putting our trust in you guys with this. :para: tl;dr Between 10 - 99 posts: one input and requires approval Between 100 - 199 posts: one input with auto-approval Between 200 - 349 posts: two inputs with auto-approval Above 350 posts: three inputs with auto-approval I will be monitoring how performance goes while this new set of features is used and will tweak things if they need it and will keep on doing my best (despite being an idiot) to continue improving this place for you muppets! Cheers!
