Last time I tried in HC mode it took me a solid 30 minutes to get up that damn thing. My car would either slide down the hill or flip upside down because "gravity".

Just checked amazon, the Canadian website has 1 for 180CAD from Japan... probably don't buy that one. US website has 1 for $50/60CAD. Amazon UK has 1 for £20/38CAD - if you don't mind waiting on shipping (assuming the company can ship internationally) that's probably the best choice money-wise. Otherwise check ebay and keep an eye out. Pretty much, like a torquey engine can pull from 2nd gear+ from a standstill, this has so much torque it pulls from it's highest gear, so they got rid of all the other gears :p

Same here man, until last month I hadn't played it since 2013, massive changes, massive improvement. I used to think it was pretty but the physics were crap, now I think it's one of the best racing games I've played.
