I've just realised TDU2 UP website has been blocked by Google (you will get a warning when entering the site from Chrome) because of "publishing viruses".
It's a problem with provider's ads which are added to every page they host (well they have to make money from something) and I can't really do anything about it. Anyway, you're 100% safe until you click the banner.

Im exactly the same as donnie... While yes there are other games available in germany (and in england). There are no other games like THIS available ANYWHERE.. There is no other game out that lets you drive on such a large scale map (yes truck simulator covers all of europe, but it doesnt have every road that is in the real world, in the game) This is probably the most complex/ accurate map of anywhere ive seen in any game.

This is as close as someone can get to cruising in a car for 150 miles, who doesnt own a car/ doesnt have a license.. And you can do it with friends too.
I know plenty of car guys who will go out several nights a week with their car pals and cruise around for hours, just enjoying driving, i also know waaay too many people that put in way more hours into face book than Donnie or i put into playing tdu2. Now facebook... thats an obsession for thousands of people.. All donnie and i are doing is spending a few hours a night playing a game where we are cruising with friends because that isnt possible in the real world for us.

There is nothing i like better than on a sunday, after my big roast dinner, to sit back and cruise for about 3-4 hours. I dont even pick fast cars, i will usually go for one of the muscle cars, or one of the other lower end cars (max speed 150 mph-ish ) and just enjoy driving, listening to my tunes... i have no idea how many miles ive clocked up but i know its a lot.. Also bare in mind donnies display is Km so it will look a LOT higher than yours or mine which is probably in miles.

To be honest i couldn't even imagine playing tdu for anything less than 1h :30 in a single session... It would feel like i'd just loaded the game. Even just an hour and a half 4 times a week, driving (not just sitting about in the cars) you can very quickly rack up the miles, but if you do like donnie and i do and create/take part in Very long races at the CrC, you will clock up the miles even faster. The "big island tour" we race quite often is 160 miles approx, that is why donnie has such a high milage..... erm..... kilometer-age..

For us the fun factor of TDU2 hasnt really worn off , we still enjoy it as much as we did when it first came out.. probably more so now, as we have all the extra content for it..

I also had this problem. What fixed it for me was to do a fresh install, unpack it and then install the up as first mod. For me it worked, it might not for you but it is worth a shot.

Use GamePC.cpr which was included in the patch. File might have been overwritten by UpLauncher.

thanks for correcting me :D i always thought that changing gear ratios would hurt acceleration much more than installing bigger wheels on it. :D

so, supra must have very good torque curve then. you know, good torque curve brings more power with same amount of torque :D and power equals speed :D

but i didnt understand this: why did you advertise it as 285 kmh and made it go 252? im asking because of curiosity :D (btw it would be better if you fix this and ram srt-10. :D It is just a suggestion. (some people dont seem to understand that... :D) )

edit: EPIC FAIL... :fp: :fp: :fp: :headbang3: :headbang3: :headbang3: opened the game today and did 290 with supra.. forget my suggestion :D somehow it bugged and didnt get past 252 yesterday.. :D :fp: :headbang3: and ram srt-10 says 247kmh in specs not 271 :fp: :fp: :headbang3: :headbang3:

Well, cars of TDU2 have values for fuel consumption but as we all know it is not working so I don't see the purpose of discussing diameter to fuel consumption relation ;).
Answering your question. This is not so simple. Bigger diameter = bigger load, slower acceleration etc. Some engines obtain best fuel efficiency at higher RPM but lower load - it depends. And yes, it will screw up the speedometer and odometer. Better way to save money on fuel is to buy eco tires and change driving style.

285km/h was confirmed in few independent tests. Theoretical top speed is even higher. Supra with its low drag coefficient (0.32 without wing, unknown with wing), frontal area of 20.1 sq/ft and 320bhp can top at 305 km/h. With wing it might be around 300km/h or slightly less (evaluated drag coefficient for the wing can vary from 0.34 to 0.36).

Wheel size has nothing to do with the top speed . It only makes the car faster at the same rpm compared to smaller wheel (what can be fixed by adjusting gear ratios) but when engine reaches its limits the only thing that matters are aerodynamics and horsepower.

I understand that some of you might be concerned by the performance of UP cars compared to cars that are in the game.
The point is that majority of Eden cars do not reflect their real performance. Some of them are too fast (Pagani), some are too slow (RS6). Not everyone have the patch so fixing retail cars will destroy a competitive aspect of the game.

I don't want the cars of UP to duplicate mistakes of the orginal devs so sometimes they might feel too slow in their class. We want the acceleration of our cars to match reality. Unfortunately, this is not entirely possible because some parts of physic we have to borrow from other cars but I do my best to make each car feel different and be as close to the reality as possible in this game.

    Stock aventadors dont do 400km/h

Xarlith is very serious with the word "stock" and he among with testers lost a lot of hours tweaking each parameter of the cars... so to all people :

Please dont come here making useless points of view because we wont do anything about it .

Again ... The cars in UP are meant to respect the stock/original specs of the real cars.

    Cheers !

    @Arnaud Acking

Actually there was a funtion (cabrio/roof button) in the supra that would remove the wing.... but there was a bug with the stickers (i guess) so Minime had to remove that option unfortunatly :(

    Btw nice suggestion

It is not mandatory to uninstall 0.3 before 0.4. If you can't uninstall it might be a problem with your game file structure. Hard to tell what's wrong but there is a solution that should always work:

Co-driver doesn't work on the Gallardo. Can that be fixed? ;) Everything else on this car is absolutely perfect.

And i've heard from a few people that the enginestart-sound of the TVR Cerbera is a little bit too loud. (They asked me to report this.)
