Tried working on my car again today but the tool I need still hasn't come. Decided to empty the sump and put the new oil filter in. But yet again the spanner slipped and my arm went up into a small piece of metal on the subframe with the full force of my strength.. But this time I smashed the other side of the same wrist and now it's swollen like a balloon. Probably chipped that bone too like the other side. I also banged my head on the numberplate and it cracked where the screw is so I'm gonna need a new one of those too when the cracks get worse.

Hap Berday. :birthday:

About 3 grand so far. To me it's worth it though just for the enjoyment I get from driving it.

Everything is just old and seized up. Had to jam a flathead screwdriver into the track-rod end to get the nut to stop spinning so we could undo it. I'd rather have all new parts fitted rather than old parts they are well beyond their best. All new ball joints, track-rod ends, adjustable tie-bars, adjustable bottom suspension arms, rear camber brackets, lowered shocks. It's also safer to get new parts rather than put the old parts back on. God knows how old they are or how worn out inside.

It broke again. Going to be off the road for a week at least. :( Just tried to get the front swivel hubs off to change the bearings. No chance, all of the ball joints are knackered and would not come free. The hub nut washer had also shattered. Track rod end had a split boot. Tie bars are bent. Calliper pistons are rusty... Just ordered another £300+ of parts. >.< Although I am now getting fully adjustable front and back suspension. Will be able to adjust the front caster angle, camber and toe along with the rear camber and toe as opposed to just the front toe. Should handle much better.

GAME exclusive, what a surprise. £65 for the special edition, I may be stupid but there's one thing that I'm not and that's stupid. Standard edition for me, thanks.

xbox one XBOX ONE - #XboxReveal 21st May 2013 - Discussion Thread
Camel replied to Eudemon's topic in Gaming Discussion
I have done. And it wasn't any slower than running it off one of the internal drives. Not saying it would be like that for everyone as their network may not be upto it or NAS for that matter. It'd just be nice to have a choice.- 54 replies

I'd go with the single card. Crossfire for starters will use more power, produce more heat and probably more noise. It can also cause glitches/artefacts on some games with some games not liking it at all meaning they don't perform that well. The crossfire solution also has less memory, although I'd imagine 2GB to be more than enough unless you're running multiple monitors.

Perhaps they'll see sense and let you format externals so that they can be used to install/record to? Even more wishful thinking would be to let use install to network media. I have a nice 4TB NAS that could do with some more use. /dream- 54 replies

I love how they had a timer to another timer! If the new Xbox is as smart as that I'll be getting one!- 54 replies

EA have announced that they are stopping the use of online passes in new games. Those of us who would rather wait a while and pick up the game second hand can now enjoy full online capability for no extra cost. Although it looks like you will still need the online pass to play games that shipped with it in the past few years. But does this mean that they'll just bump up the prices of the games to begin with? Source: BBC News

I've played both with the controllers and I'd much rather play Forza and that's the one I keep going back to. As has already been said, the sounds are mind blowing in Forza compared to those of GT. All of the Forza cars have a decent cockpit view(not sure what all the GT ones are like since that update but from what I saw a lot of the standard ones looked very basic at best). It's been a while but I don't remember there being anywhere near as many races in GT as in Forza and I got to the top tier thing in GT. The handling in both are very good imo but again I prefer Forza as I like sliding around alot. Car customisation also has a lot more depth in Forza over GT, both performance and visually. Overall I prefer Forza, it just feels like a more compete game to me.

:hmmm: Really thought this would have been a PS4 release title. Seems daft to release it on the PS3 shortly before the next console and then make fans wait 4 or 5 years for the next gen version of the game. I was hoping that this would be the game that pushed me back to Sony. -
