  1. Yeah the dash has a boost readout. Only problem is that whenever there's a decent number showing I'm usually too busy looking at where I'm going ;) I have seen it in the low 20's before though iirc.
  2. Voting time Pick 3 screenshots, or else
  3. As fun as running 64 AI at 5 frames per second (on an old CPU) is they do have a point.
  4. If you look carefully you can tell where the front bar intake vents line up on the A/C condenser :fp: Anyway, got around to installing the Audi S3 intercooler today. We'll see what sort of temp difference that makes. My car looks so old/dirty compared to Harley's (older) car now :(
  5. It's a meme. Search for doge. We'll all have to read it again now that you've quoted it anyway :ym:
  6. Or try the newer/prettier/more limited by free MS Flight. It's on Steam and GFWL.
  7. Yeah I meant FM specifically. Would be good to see another FH game although it'll be hard to justify buying a new console and wheel for it. Also you won't be able to torrent pCARS since it authenticates both with Steam and the SMS servers at launch.
  8. By next November I'm sure there will be a sizable amount of next-gen console owners. Forza Motorsport is traditionally a 2 year cycle release and GT is who knows when, so they should both be absent when pCARS comes out, which should be great timing. Ian's quite adamant about Wii U being a good choice, and they definitely want to prove something to all those other devs who've said it's too hard, not enough ROI, etc. The deal was we let them continue making the Wii U version, and we'll be gifted profit made on the Steam OS (Linux) platform. Also, the secret's out  ;) Project CARS Finally Revealed | DSOGaming | The Dark Side Of Gaming
  9. Right from the outset it was clear that this mob (the devs) were out to create a lifestyle game, and not a driving one. In the dev diaries video they explained their decision making process in choosing the next location for, Ibiza, because of it's party atmosphere. Nevermind picking a location that looks awesome, has great driving roads... nope, just a geographically boring, small island, with a road network that mainly goes up through the middle of it instead of circling the perimeter like O'ahu did. Sure it may have been playable but then plenty of FPS games have playable driving physics as well (if not better). They knew what we all wanted (the TDU1 forums were overflowing with feedback, ideas, suggestions, etc), they had a decent base (code-wise) to build on, but they discarded the VRally/TDU1 driving model to try and replicate the one found in GRID (which imo was worse anyway and didn't suit open-world cruising), and they failed. I played TDU because I liked driving, and in TDU2 that was just about the only part of the game they failed to deliver on. No matter though, the TDU1 team are working on The Crew, we've seen evidence of steering wheel support and heard that Hardcore mode will be there again; this will be the true sequel for me.
  10. Doesn't everyone usually accuse you of that? Now this time you're talking about Forza and everyone else is bagging it ;)
  11. I was half expecting you to accuse them of being GT fanbois Milli /oh the irony :cheeky:
  12. I'll be honest, I was thinking the same (and their English isn't so good in other paragraphs), but just decided to go with it. It's not like anyone here's going to notice... oh wait.
  13. This guy's a genius (and a whole lotta people are a bit thick) NSFW Language Have you come across any other clever player names before?
  14. A teaser video for one (of a few) shared memory apps being developed by WMD members for pCARS Smart phone apps are also being made.
  15. No Chainsaws Please! The last time I enjoyed getting dirty on two wheels in a video game was probably way back when the PS3 first was released with MotorStorm. Before then it was some MX game a friend of mine had on PS2. Sure, there have been other games since (such as Pure or MUD) but there is still room for the genre to grow (don't forget those rumours of a potential Road Rash remake from Criterion Games and Slightly Mad Studios). So Milestone, who've also recently made MotoGP and WRC games, have now announced a license for MXGP (MotoCross Grand Prix) riders and their dirt bikes. Here's the full press release: Official License 60 riders, 60 bikes, 14 tracks and rules from the official MX1 and MX2 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship. Realism It's "The Game About Motocross" and this is injected in all the aspects of the game: realistic bike physics, rider motion-captured animations, dirt systems, new terrain deformation system. Be a Motorcross Rider Live the real life of a motorcross rider with the career mode: signing contract with Official MX Teams depending on his results try to became the new champion. Tracks All the tracks are completely new and loyoal to the real ones: realistic illumination, 3D environments, fan, baloon and animated flag... show the real Motorcross World! Release Date: 28 March 2014 Platforms: PlayStation3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, PC Languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish Age Rating: PEGI 3 MXGP Media Gallery [gallery link=file" size="gallery-thumbnail" columns="3" itemtag="div" icontag="span" ids="2197,2196,2195,2194,2193,2192,2191,2190,2189] http://mxgpvideogame.com
  16. Am liking the 3rd Evo and the Bathurst screenshots
  17. hahahahaha No  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8B66gFbN3sg
  18. Indeed (4 days in a row over 40 degrees here) :sohot:
  19. Perhaps they might let some people in for early Beta testing access, but for now there is no need for extra players/money so you'll have to wait it out unfortunately.
  20. I was actually looking forward to voting/entering but it seems I need a facebook account to do that, grrr
