1. Didn't we have a sticky thread for this somewhere? I can't find it in here nvm it's in the Deals forum instead of the TDU1 forum: Buy Test Drive Unlimited TDU MegaPack | turboduck forum
2. I just did the first two as I was tired and cbb going through all the footage :) Was good fun though Did you actually know where I was on the roof? I kept getting lost and finding myself outside the arena, but given those blocks are indestructible and there are stairs to get back in it must be allowable.
3. I've fixed that on a few Win7 PCs - it's not too hard to fix. Find any working Win7 or 8 PC (one that is the same architecture as yours (32bit/64bit)) with a CD burner - click Start, type "Create", click Create a System Repair disc, follow the prompts Boot up your PC with that disc, try Startup Repair if you want, let it go for ~30+ mins, see if it works If not, or if you're confident and want to skip the wizard (if it lets you) - select the Command Prompt option and rebuild your BCD: Use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows
4. Your house is fine Harleys looks like like a hen-house Everyone else's house is physically fine afaik Doesn't Windows 8 have a built-in restore function? Or you could use a Windows 7 CD (or use any working PC Windows 7+, click Start, type 'Create' [a StartUp Repair disc]) and use that to try Startup Repair if the Windows files are all still there.
5. khev and I on another server tonight: Playing a bit of team-based snowball fighting Was good fun - gotta get more of you guys on next time (make sure you're online on my Steam list to get an impromptu invite) and maybe will find a few more servers and mini games. Video will go up tomorrow khev and I are also now setup on Skype and I can record the calls to merge with the videos - maybe MadDog and I should do another walkaround video following the TDUCk server bork to see what's changed.
6. S3 will be of more use more of the time However there are cheaper Android phones that are similar and will do the job while you enjoy the G27. A cheapo wheel however would be a waste of money. The best of the cheap wheels is the Logitech DFGT. Or perhaps you can find a G25 on eBay cheap. If you bought the wheel first and then started saving for a phone, possibly a new phone would be out that takes your fancy anyway. If you buy the phone first and then save for the wheel, chances are by the time you save the money, there will still be a new phone out that takes your fancy :)
7. Some more have been added (don't worry about the poll too much) http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x152/aleistad/Private/all_boxes_zps69728cb7.jpg
8. Spending more money on a good/expensive modem/router also usually helps Make sure nothing else is downloading (torrents, for example) when playing
9. PTV3000 Except I don't have it yet, and haven't paid for it yet (only ordered online) Also purchased $1000 worth of those Herbalife products I've been using which should last be about month. Sounds expensive, but then consider that I'm not longer spending $8-$20 per day on breakfast/lunch in the city any more. Happy with the results, I'm just sticking with it because I feel so much better all the time now. Also by purchasing in bulk I got 35% off. You can get up to 50% off but you're spending a heck of a lot more within a 3 month period to qualify (intended for those who buy for family/friends/others I think) Random image Next thing I need is a new suit that fits me a little bit better
10. You never know, I might forget again (wouldn't be the fifth time) :cheeky:
11. Under "what's new?" turboduck You should put your library in SkyDrive or something - if you install the SkyDrive software and tick the right boxes you can access everything on your PC remotely (if it's online)
12. um yeah, but which track? I would've thought GT5 or FM4 would be the obvious choice?
13. Check the forum calendar (although I think I selected times according to my timezone and the forum is using them as GMT - will have to check it)
14. When the pits in pCARS get more attention I might film the last part of my most recent 2-3 year old SFCPD movie. Only problem is that speedcarreview.com redirects to hittingredline.com now :p
15. I know it's old, but seriously? Need for Speed 2 was released in 1995 and looked better than that (To be fair I this might be from the SE version which came out a few months later - or played on a newer PC years later)
16. Found this old video I made on my HDD and decided to reupload it to Vimeo (since I had to delete it off YouTube a few years ago because of the themesong). Some newer members probably haven't seen it, so here you go Click here if you can't see the video This is a recreation of the film from Season One, Episode Two - which can be viewed here if you want to compare: Top Gear Season 1 Episode 2 - Full Episode by That_Guy - Car Videos on StreetFire
17. Yeah it does, they're a pain to make (have to manually resize it to something tiny so hard to find something that frames well). I'll look for one later this week and setup another Race 07 tournament I think (just with basic content)
