    Nice one I'll be honest I ignored the notification of this thread at first as I thought it would just be another TDU mod request :lol: 3100rpm does sound a tad high for motorway speeds, but I can't really comment objectively since I've got 7 gears Be sure to find the Driving Videos and Acceleration videos threads and update them ;)

    Speed qualified all 4 of his drivers in the top 4 amazingly, but couldn't look after their tyres so fell back (all finished in top 10 after some people had to pit an extra time just before the end of the race). I qualified 5th and 10th, my main guy getting up to 1st for a bit before settling behind I. Knud in 2nd. My other driver wasn't doing great and hard tyres seemed to work better so I pitted him early to get out of traffic (was 11th) and switched to hards, but for some reason he never got back to his original position, even with the extra pit stops at the end of the race by others. I think he finished 13th.

    haha, pretty much done with tunnels so the next obvious activity was bridges that go over water for quick diving access. I'm also using the wood to build a proper fence behind my house before Santtu steals that land from me with his not very secret house. Funny story that actually, I started building the fence on the other side of the lake and then realised it went straight past his front door, which would've been quite funny but a bit mean :) So yeah, building the fence during the day and the bridge at night, need to plant more trees to get more wood though.

    Guess I'll be happy with 2nd or 3rd this season, I don't see myself beating team Bunch of Spanners this time around. The upshot though is the races are a lot more closer for me which makes attending a lot more engaging.

    I used the same method for all the pics, dunno why Cal's didn't work (all others are loading for me). Had two windows open and dragged the image into the text box, a URL came up, stuck img tags either side. Don't use URL tags next time, probably the reason why

    Finished smoothing out the mob hunting grounds and decided to build a little hut under the NPC house that I accidentally dug under to reduce their hiding places. If you have any unwanted meat (rotting or not) please leave it in the chest inside this hut to help feed those 3 hungry dogs in there. :) Only problem with covering it all up is that I don't see hardly as many mods there now :fp: And when I'm there during the day I keep hearing them growl just under the surface, so I'll have to fix that up later. Linked up the tunnel to Ozz's house, just outside ILLGT3's house, and that other random structure near the community house that has no door or sign to say who it belongs to. In case you hadn't notice, yes I built a higher lookout platform, complete the a super massive diving board for an alternate fast exit. Had to outdo the little one in ILLGT3's pool. Tested, works, no damage taken.

    And I laughed when they all died :lol: (I joined while they were in the other realm) Monster trap has now expanded into a monster hunting ground. Still WIP so don't judge it just yet - will make it look better, will plant more trees in strategic locations, and then will construct the skywalk and shooting platforms. Plenty of mobs in the extended trap Even attracted a couple of endermen in there (one under the house that I accidentally dug under) If anyone wants to they can mine the stone on the surface and replace it with dirt - just keep it all flat. I'll plant trees later. It'll be handy if you want to harvest string, gunpowder, rotten flesh for your dog, ender eyes, etc. Ominous looking castle Pretty sure no-one was in this house at the time And working on building a lair (don't worry khev, it's not in your secret house that Ozz and I toured today)

    The DVR thing would be ok for me (4 Xboxes at home here, 3 of which are simply Media Center extenders). I'm a bit over paying for LIVE Gold every year just to access things like YouTube. The new Xbox is also rumored to fit into MS's whole cloud ecosystem, expect being able to access photos and stuff from SkyDrive, maybe Skype, etc. Maybe some extra feature for those who have Windows 8, Office 365, etc?

    lol probably not a great place to build Ozz - that whole area was going to be a mod trap, but if you're brave you can build your house there :p pyrre is probably most advanced with the stuff he's mined and created and would probably be first to build portals I reckon. Harley and khev are pretty handy in the minds too.

    Yes, SMS officially intend to make pCARS on the new consoles, whether they actually do it or not depends on community funding when it opens ~next week. The rough estimates so far are - assume it will cost 1.5m EUR per new platform to port (dev kit fees, publishing fees to Sony/MS, hiring new devs to work on it, etc). To break even the game would need 50,000 sales on each new platform. So if you become an investor your profit/loss comes only from the new console(s), and has nothing to do with sales on PC, X360, PS3, and Wii U. However new investors will still get access to the WMD forums and will be able to play pre-alpha builds on PC with the rest of us.
