  1. We were configured for Frankfurt ATC when at Geneva - it was telling us the Frankfurt runway to use We would've had to run type !addtower LSGG or alternatively use !taxi LSGG, !takeoff LSGG, etc (LSGG is the ICAO code for Geneva)
  2. Surprise announcement of the inclusion of Spa Historic in pCARS, included in Build 438 (TM+) as an 'Easter Egg' (i.e. hidden). Some of Andy G's screenshots (probably not in order): To select the track, open the track selection screen, and click around the bottom left corner in search of an invisible button. Slightly Mad and slightly evil :p If I remember correctly, we now have historic versions of Spa, Monza, and Hockenheimring. If I had to make a bet I'd say these tracks (and any other as yet unknown historic tracks) would be fairly low priority on the polishing list and would be a part of the proposed Historic cars DLC. That's just my personal guess though, not based on any WMD forum posts.
  3. "Don't Follow. Lead" With only two months remaining before the scheduled release of GRID 2, Codemasters Racing have released two trailers that showcase some of the events and locations players will encounter as they they compete in WSR. If the PR staff at Codemasters are completely predictable, expect a third video featuring Asian drivers and events in approximately two weeks.
  4. I don't remember that episode :hmmm:
  5. Well since we love TDU1 RUF screenshots :)
  6. Welcome DayFour Hope you enjoy the forums and join us for a race some time, instead of being one of those members who only posts in random threads to get a high enough post count to request TDU mods and then we never hear from them again ;)
  7. So GameSpy for FSX was shutdown by Microsoft without warning in December 2012, but it's not all over FSX Beyond GameSpy: Your Source for Information about the Future of FSX Multiplayer Some websites still maintain dynamic lists of running servers showing location, number of players, etc. You just select one, get it's IP Address and type that into FSX in Multiplayer > LAN > Direct Connection Reaper and I joined a German one tonight - FSXTools.de Our only problem was that there were a bunch of commands to use that we haven't learnt, as the BOT requires players to abide by ATC clearances. Our downfall (but also fortune) was that we were flying from Geneva when the ATC and all other players were in Frankfurt. The good news was that there was no-one to crash into, the bad news was that we suspect we were tuned into Frankfurt ATC and didn't know how to switch to Geneva via the server chat commands. I've since found a reference for the BOT commands - Bot Commands Another site to look into is FSopen Multiplayer FSX sessions If you're interested familiarize yourself with these websites and their information and then we can schedule a proper multiplayer flight next weekend or whenever. -----------------------------
  8. <1 day to go if you see me in the chatbox later a reminder might be handy ;)
  9. Here's the Win 8 WEI screenshot that I never added: Also today I got around to updating the BIOS/UEFI firmware and then used a built in XMP profile to overclock the FSB. Core i5 CPU from 3.4GHz (3.6 with Turbo) to 4.1GHz 16GB of DDR3 RAM now running at 2133MHz instead of 1600MHz
  10. What else would you expect to find on a Windows Phone? Why on earth do you have 92 unread messages?
  11. Reminds me of that ProDrive car that was once on TopGear
  12. I can't even get it to run in 1080p full screen on my single monitor, keeps switching back to a low res or I get stuck with a black screen or I have to stay in window mode with some of the bottom cut off.
  13. Congrats, there's no fun like building yourself a new PC 8 )
  14. Looks alright, but I'm not seeing the point just yet. Intel doesn't make gaming GPU's (they're a competitor to AMD/nVidia), they don't make DirectX (Microsoft does), and they don't make any games. Guess they're just showing off. Shame they couldn't make the car physics look more realistic at the same time :p
  15. It may have been that simple if you said that in your post before :hmmm: Can you put pCARS injectors into TDU?
  16. Which airport did you take those photos at? The scenery looks nice and I'd like to fly there in FSX.
  17. I suppose you'd also complain about having a faulty lightbulb after turning it on and off heaps of times in a row when it dies? :oook:
  18. I don't get it - those are TDU1 screenshots (and if I'm allowed to be brutally honest the quality isn't that great, compared the the one below posted by Reventon, for example). That said I'd be shocked if you were admitting on these forums that you still play TDU2 :cheeky:
  19. I gave up in setting up the controls/assists and didn't enjoy the handling feel. The Assetto Coras demo was much better. Even SimRaceway was entertaining as I got further into it (tracks appear to be all free, only pay for cars (or you can grind to unlock for free, plus they have a car free to try every Tuesday and if you like it you can buy it discounted on that day)
  20. Nice, which airports did you fly from/to?
  21. You're a car nerd. :cheeky: Anyone else would've commented on my crap driving and instead you come out and say I should use the clutch less  In case you hadn't noticed I wasn't really focussing on doing perfect laps ;)
