  1. Some vehicle dev news: CAD data has also arrived from Mitsubishi UK so we may see those vehicles in the near future.
  2. I would like Forza to make another open world driving game (the more the merrier), but the actual Horizon Festival story has been done, and doesn't really have much continuity. I wouldn't say no to a new open world Forza every 2 years, but I'd rather a massive game like TDU that can easily last 5 years with new content added rather than a small game twice as often that has no replayability. It would seem that FH was limited by the aged platform it was running on (X360). Remember proper tyre-modelling and physics do have a decent load on the CPU (CPU and GPU are one chip in the X360) which may explain how TDU2 had such a massive area (it had rubbish physics). But you can ignore all that for now since my biggest anticipation lies in what Ivory Tower has to show off.
  3. eribus motorsport truck getting off the Freeway in the city last night as I was about to get on it
  4. Last two races were full of negative and positive emotions my position changed dramatically as my performance kept changing (I was battling a throbbing leg and sore eyes).
  5. First two videos frankly aren't worth watching given they substituted for the practice I should've done earlier.
  6. I wasn't blocking... I was struggling to stay on the track :p
  7. You're welcome to block as long as you don't complain when you get spun out :p
  8. Defending is illeagal? I thought only blocking was... (changing your line, etc)
  9. So those who didn't preorder get the better deal since those who did preorder are paying the same amount for less DLC
  10. I really have to stop guessing things about Diablo
  11. Me sucking at Forza :) I'll have tonight's GT5 league videos up tomorrow so hopefully someone can fill the gap before then ;)

  13. Looks like this title has attracted some modders:
  14. Remember ages ago when they were scanning the Bathurst track?
  15. That's why I said Clarence would dominate... I'll just be doing this for a bit of fun when I'm available :) Just need to practice more to work out the braking references so I don't risk taking others out who might be taking it a lot more seriously. And before anyone complains, yes I did brake the pitting rule on the Sonoma race, only because we all knew I was going to be last and because I wanted to race Matt on the last lap.
  16. Here's me trying FM4 for the first time in about a year in a car Santtu kindly provided: Going by some of the FH time challenges we did I know I can match Clarence given enough practice (and if my wheel behaves, it doesn't work well in Forza) but I very much doubt that will actually happen :)
  17. Nice one :p To make it even funnier, I just saw the updated rules for tonight's GT5 league race which is at Suzuka, which in part states:
  18. From reading Diablo's article I'm guessing he never saw this a few weeks ago: Sony exec says Gran Turismo 6 is a PS3 game Eurogamer.net I guess I'm not very good at deciding what news is worth writing an article about here
  19. Small typo at the bottom of the index and chatbox full pages where it says "Keep upto date with the turboduck RSS"
  20. Until I can come up with something better...
  21. DGSotW Hall of Fame Week 20 Theme: On 2 Wheels Chosen by: Loz Winner: Soundwave
  22. Congratulations to Santtu for winning the Driving Game Screenshot of the Week last week. Loz came 2nd and has chosen this weeks theme. * Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes) * Images must not exceed 800kB, and be at least 990px wide by 340px tall. * Each person who enters must cast a vote in the same week to remain eligible. You may not vote for yourself. * Winning image must not be of TDU2 as you risk account suspension. * Winner picks the next theme, unless winning consecutively, in which case the runner up decides. * Winner has 48h to PM a new theme to me or another member of staff if I'm away, if they fail to meet this then the theme will be a free round. * Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them wouldn't be eligible). Please mention what game your screenshot is from. * Minor non-enhancing editing permitted (cropping, addition of your name, etc) is permitted, as long as the actual screenshot isn't tampered with. Just like all these other comps. Week 20: On 2 Wheels Remember this is the DGSotW thread, not RGSotW ;) (Driving, not Riding)
  23. I was showing this to someone and they said 'how do you know it isn't an old screenshot from 2 years ago?' I said 'ummmmm'
