  1. Yeah I know that feeling. I don't usually update it as I'll listen to newly downloaded music straight off my USB stick or listen to new stuff on the radio. I'm finding there's less and less stuff worth downloading these days anyway. :)
  2. Why would you when that's a great shot? ;)
  3. Saw one of those a few minutes ago as well, had different rims though. Also saw a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, two Toyota FJ Cruisers, and a Porsche Panamera.
  4. Yeah that is a cool feature, only all the music on my phone is already on my car's HDD, so it's not really a feature I use often
  5. Ian's teasing us some more :) Still waiting for someone to wager ;)
  6. Indeed, but that's a heck of a lot of buttons on the steering wheel. Almost like a certain Ferrari
  7. *waits for Diablo to create threads here and at TDU2F*
  8. From the pCARS "TDU3" thread: Perhaps we indulge Ian and *NotAsk* Atari to ask SMS to make TDU3? :D
  9. Better update with mine: The mounting system that Fanatec forgot to include: :)
  10. I had a feeling you'd ask that, so I had a quick test yesterday (only in the Spyker SUV, since that's the only car I drive since it's fast on and off road and fairly controllable). With max FFB still set in the options there is absolutely no FFB - everything feels just as bad as before. When assigning controls I couldn't even find where you choose what buttons to use to make your avatar walk, which prevented me from switching cars in the house/garage/dealer so quit fairly quickly. Still have to start turning the wheel a good 1-200m before the corner as well. The graphics remain nice but for some reason FPS has dropped to below 30 (everything on full at 1080p on a GTX480) so I'm not sure what they've done there either. There were no single player missions to test the cars/bikes, only a 2min test drive option from the dealer, and frankly I couldn't be bothered looking for those cars. :modwork:
  11. It would help if you posted your time here as well ;)
  12. This could potentially kill the 'Your Latest Purchase' thread but :nnnn: If you're thinking of buying something post a link and/or picture here so that others can help you with your decision, and so you can see those nice pics every time someone replies, increasing the likelihood that you'll waste spend more of your hard-earned currency. Perhaps I'll start with this: ThrustMaster TH8RS 7+1 Speed Shifter To be of any decent use though I'd need to get my hands on one of these: TH8RS Fanatec Adaptor
  13. I was just posting pCARS media in the general threads so that others would be more convinced to join the fun (can't say it didn't work either) :p But anyway, here's a video from the first build available to the public:
  14. You've obviously been messing with the files, so just reinstall the game. I ran the UpLauncher earlier and was getting over 400kbps (didn't actually play though, that would be TDUCk treason) Will be quicker in the long run compared to mucking around with individual files.
  15. Given the number of server issues regular players encounter (myself included) it would be much better not to use that generic error message, and just confirm that they're banned (thus reducing the amount of support tickets asking if this is the case or not).
  16. Last weekend I was using the G25 with CS pedals, went to map the accelerator in game and nothing happened, just didn't see the second controller. Will try again this arvo.
  17. Atari didn't act against modders in TDU1 because they never updated TDU1 after the mega car-pack.
  18. I thought the Fanatecs didn't work with TDU1 PC? Or is that only when you connect the pedals via USB?
  19. I don't think you can blame Subaru for that. Plus this for photos not screenshots. ;)
  20. Fixes? I read that they broke the FFB even more :) I don't consider new clothes, furniture, and garage management as fixes.
  21. The funny thing is if we didn't have all these mods they'd relase new content quicker since they wouldn't be wasting time on the anti-(all these tools) updates and testing. :) As of now PC owners must have the latest version of TDU2.exe to play online, so you're choice is either to play with mods offline, or play online as without mods (until they are updated, if the modders decide to update it, if they aren't already banned.) :) Obviously Atari really don't want us to enjoy this game. :p
  22. Yeah I think it will be more like that Ferrari Virtual Academy title.
  23. Now this looks exactly like pCARS, but Thomas from Fanatec said it isn't - it's that free game that Automaniax is making with Porsche. (http://www.virtualr.net/automaniax-porsche-online-new-title-coming) So now SMS must be involved with Porsche, since it looks like they are providing the game engine, and hopefully that means pCARS will get Porsche's soon, which would be brilliant. But if you recall 3 weeks ago, Ian from SMS said that they were going to restructure and "become part of something bigger and better", but this partner wasn't going to be a publisher (i.e. EA). So perhaps Porsche is providing the rest of the pCARS funding? Which is interesting considering how we saw that video yesterday of Suzi from SMS talking up their relationship with Ferrari and somewhat lamenting over how pedantic they are. :)
