You don't think I was going to go searching for that though... (I knew there were other Forza liveries). Ok guys, full steam ahead! *goes away on holidays*
-
As a Project CARS Manager, one of my perks is having a livery of my choice in the final game. Since I can't think of any good ones that benefit me, the next obvious choice is to make a tduck livery. I'm not asking anyone to actually make this for me (although if you can that would be great ), but rather the purpose of this thread is just to form a design committee to help form the livery from start to finish. Since none of you can view the thread directly I'll have to copy the brief here - just don't spread this out everywhere ok (nothing super secret, it's just in the Manager forum because that's the logical place for it). The tasks as I see them are: 1. Get Diablo's approval/thoughts - done 2. Pick base car/car type (thinking GT3 or street class... maybe one of the yet-to-be-announced Audi's) 3. Pick base car paint colour(s) - done (yellow body, orange bonnet, green roof) 4. Design logos and choose best one, also the main font type and colour turboduck Diablo to provide larger/alternative PSD files 5. Dream up additional sponsor names/logos and/or use existing SMS ones Graham's Goat Washing Someone to create and submit draft logo I <3 Bacon rear ID plate Members to think of a plausibly legitimate business name (not real) and submit draft logos 6. Logo/text/sponsor placement on car 7. Driver Names 8. Car/Driver number - done '07' I'm open to all suggestions (even if you're not artistic you can think of sponsor names that somewhat reflect our heritage and insanity (I forsee a Goat Washing sponsor for instance). Of course Diablo (site/brand owner) and myself (perk owner) can overrule if we feel we have to but I'm hoping this will be a popular community project. Just remember this livery will appear in the final game for you to select and take awesome screenshots of so get involved. *waits for Diablo* Previous examples: Is the Audi theme a coincidence?Diablo to provide larger/alternative PSD files

Search YouTube, plenty of people spell it out there

hmmm ok maybe someone with a gaming PC and better Internet connection than me can run the server themselves or ask Diablo really nicely (and then wonder why the forum keeps going down) :p

Or don't. I gave up on GRID 2 within an hour of playing it.

Looks like TDU2 had some use after all Traffic cars from Test Drive Unlimited 2 in ETS 2 (fixed) ETS 2 Car Bus Euro truck simulator 2 mods Speaking of AI, SCS have been working on them in this big patch (which is currently available as a Steam Beta release): SCS Software's blog

Worth noting cap'n that you can use the TDU1 Modding Tools to change sequential cars to use the H shifter.

Exclusive Cars Made More Affordable; Less Exclusive SimRaceWay is one of those F2P titles that doesn't seem to make a lot of noise in the virtual racing community, possibly due to their other sources of income (selling hardware and involvement in real world racing). This is a bit of a shame, since they offer quite a decent driving experience and in contrast to SimBin's R3E, you get a considerable amount of free content (all tracks and a selection of cars, with varied free test drives each week). SimRaceWay's main controversy was the way they priced their DLC cars (which can also be purchased with in-game credits if you choose to grind enough). In-game prices were proportional to real-world car value, so players could spend up to $38.00 on just one car, and if we have to be brutally honest, the visual presentation of vehicles leaves a bit to be desired when compared to the likes of Forza and Project CARS models. Of course, on the flip side, common cars were less than $1 each. If you are a car connoisseur, you will be happy to hear that SimRaceWay are balancing out the car prices. Under the new scheme, cars will still be priced according to real world value, but only 3 price points exist now, namely $2.50, $5.00 or $7.50. So there are savings up to 80% to be found. Of course, the bad news is that the cheaper cars have their price increased to $2.50. Can't win them all, I guess. Of course, weekly specials will continue as per normal, meaning further savings for patient members. So, should I try this out? If you have a racing wheel and some time to burn, SimRaceWay is worth a look-in. The graphics and sound engine is dated, and having to download content and updates from inside the game instead of pre-downloading everything in advance is somewhat annoying, but after setting up controller settings correctly, the driving experience is rewarding. AI and online opponents are available to race, and both so far have offered enjoyable racing. Every clean lap you complete in any mode will add to your in-game credits which you can spend on any vehicle when you have saved enough. Winning online races and time trials are a faster way to increase your virtual currency. It's also worth noting that SRW employees are very accessible, quick to respond to feedback and are extremely nice to deal with. Here's an older one for the feels... not far from Diablo's favourite spot All just to film this short scene:
-
Is that an Astonini Gallanquish?
-
The newer ones are better since the resolution and quality are better (and because I'm in them) ;)
-
wow that does bring back memories, and I never even played it (remember those Leadfoot used to make?)
-
What is it with Aussies and this track? And with Brits and this track? (This track being Bathurst) To be fair to the dodgy one I do struggle to match his times on most other events

Steve Pizatti (the TopGear Australia host and chief Audi Australia trainer) has said I can skip the first Audi 'Advanced Driving Experience' course (driving A- and Q-series cars) and jump to the Performance Day course (driving S-series cars) since I've completed the 2 VW courses. Scheduled to occur at Phillip Island towards the end of May. Hopefully they've got the new S3 there (will make for a good (albeit expensive) test drive) along with the no-doubt more powerful S-class cars in their range. From there the next course up is in the Audi R8 or you can side-step into the New Zealand snow-driving course. Sorry Harley, you have to be over 25 to join in. :nnnn:

I would have thought it would be relatively cheap compared to what you've already spent on it? Couldn't you theoretically do most of the servicing yourself?

Suction mount came with the camera when I bought it a few years back. It's not ideal for the bike though.
-
I got a GoPro chest mount. Time will tell if I use it or not :)

Either your parents car, your bike, or buy a tduck lookalike to feature (or at worst take a selfie). It's just to show that they're your photos and not a your friends or a Google search result
