    If you get that you still will only be able to hear it with only one ear though ;) I bought the basic PS3 bluetooth adapter which works with PS3 and PC and I have the basic wired X360 chat headset. The X360 wireless headset is RF and doesn't work with anything else iirc. Also if you can wait a couple of months there will be a bunch of new hardware for the new consoles (which hopefully are backwards compatible), which may either want, or they'll possibly push down the prices of existing hardware.

    Congrats to Tim for winning the otw thing again last week. This weeks theme was chosen by Ozzmcom. * Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes) * Images must not exceed 5MB, and be at least 990px wide by 340px tall. * Each person who enters must cast a vote in the same week to remain eligible. You may not vote for yourself. * Winning image must not be of TDU2 as you risk account suspension. * Winner picks the next theme, unless winning consecutively, in which case the runner up decides. * Winner has 48h to PM a new theme to me or another member of staff if I'm away, if they fail to meet this then the theme will be a free round. * Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games.     Time taken to make Supra look all brand new: 4 months Time needed to make Supra look all second hand: 2 hours (in the right weather on the right roads) I'd love to spend time making my car look awesome but (1) I don't have the undercover garage area to do it, (2) it wouldn't last a week, and (3) I lack the motivation.

    It could be possible that they anticipate to have many more cars in the game, but as of right now they have only officially licensed ~40 cars. If 5 more manufacturers signed contracts tomorrow you could be looking at another 30 cars just like that, for example. Of course those numbers are just made up to make a point.

    Need to think about this some more, but let's get some out of the way. Trying to ask questions that there is a chance of him actually answering :) Can you tell us a bit more about what happened in 2007 when you left TDU1 and started this project? Where did the idea come from? Are the buggy rendered images we have in the TDU2 thread pointers to The Crew? Besides DLC cars, are there any plans for DLC game-modes to play with friends, or will we just make our own game modes up like in TDU1 since the game is still essentially "Unlimited" How long did it take how many people to build the environment (world/map) in The Crew? What are your top 5 favourite places to visit in the game (best roads/scenery/monuments)? What are you most proud of in the game so far? We've seen the snowy terrain on the map but not in gameplay yet, are some of the roads completely covered with snow or ice? Does this effect physics (extremely slippery)? Are you able to demonstrate The Crew with a steering wheel and Hardcore mode in one of your upcoming video walkthroughs? Presumably rear-view mirrors are disabled for performance reasons. Do you think this looks weird at all, and will PC players have the option to turn them on if their PC (now or in 5 years) is fast enough to do so? Any word on whether we will have TrackIR and Oculus Rift compatibility? Have you experienced OR - what did you think of it?

    I'm actually more surprised that car HAS fog lights. :lol: My 2010 Golf doesn't even have them (was an option that wasn't ticked).

    ~40 games is what you'd expect to see in a mainstream IOS/Android racing game like Asphalt or Real Racing, or from a studio that doesn't have a massive publisher like Ubi or EA behind them. We'll have to see exactly what cars they've selected and go from there I guess. The only thing in their favour (which might be what Herve was alluding to) is that they don't technically have to have a bunch of supercars + SUVs for example since one car *could* be both to some extent.

    haha, yeah I did spot the roof paint afterwards but I'm sure you'll get around to it given the potential the bonnet shows. For the headlights I was thinking more along the lines a white/blue light as opposed to yellow. I got some Phillips Extreme bulbs from the PowerBulbs website after a recommendation from Dan_G here. Ignore the claims of being able to see further - yes they are brighter but they're still pointed at the ground at the same angle (being dipped beams - the high beams would be another story). Steering wheel is also looking a bit dated, could possibly replace that - I assume you've given it a good clean after seeing the TopGear episode on 2nd hand BMW's ;)

    Obscure button on the gear stick will most likely be Overdrive. Leave it on most of the time to improve milage, although iirc you can turn it off to improve engine braking when going down hill. Got a photo of the other buttons? Awesome paint job/polish. I'd be looking for some new/brighter headlights to finish off the sharp look at the front. And also darkest legal window tint.
