Clever - it's looks essentially the same WRC3 game recently released with a high camera view, extra cars to collide into, and with power-ups added. Physics might be slightly more arcade as well.

DGSotW Week 19: Lightweight Track Day Car[s]
Ryzza5 replied to Ryzza5's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Force 32x AA and AF in the nVidia CP and they're pretty close to some Forza screenshots I've seen (that Bernese Alps track looks much better though) :)- 73 replies

sony Let's talk about the Sony PlayStation 4 event :: Feb 20th 2013
Ryzza5 replied to Eudemon's topic in Gaming Discussion
The x86 CPU was designed when 3.85GB of RAM was astronomical (we measured RAM in KB back then). Unlike an ARM or Cell CPU which are completely different in their design, the x64 is more of an extension of the x86 design (which is why it's "x86-based") so that it can make twice as many computations at once and the maximum amount of supported RAM is again now astronomical. So yes, you need the 64-bit OS to use over 4GB of RAM but in a 64-bit version of Windows you can still run 32-bit apps, whereas you can't insert an Xbox DVD and play that in Windows. That's the dumbed down version, check Wikipedia if you want something more nerdy :)- 45 replies

My Digital Piano is back from being repaired (LCD screen needed replacing). Yamaha supplied the parts (worth $400) for free even though I'm out of warranty by over a year too - just paid $150 for labour. (So they should given the original price of the piano).

The annoying thing is that since I'm a Manager I've had access to those cars for a few days before you already and I still haven't actually had time to try them out yet :fp:

If I'm going to fly to Europe I'm going to need a better itinerary than to do a stupid dance with some people I've never met in person.

forza horizon Forza Horizon Meguiar's March Pack DLC

What about the Season Pass? - if there's a big enough discount I'll get it. -
xbox one The new Xbox might be called Xbox Gold.
Ryzza5 replied to Eudemon's topic in Gaming Discussion
XBL Gold subscriptions no doubt paid for the R&D for the NextBox, so now they've probably thought of more reasons to charge us for nothing (compared to PC and PS3) to fund the 4th gen Xbox. -
A lot of good racing games are previewed by the media before release so for the epic titles like Gran Tusimo, Forza Horizon, Ivory Tower's TDU game, Project CARS I'll pay full RRP on day one (if not preordered) For other good games I'll hunt for the best price or buy on eBay from Hong Kong, Thailand or the UK for roughly half the RRP here (delivery is a little longer though) For meh titles I'll wait until they cost next to nothing unless I'm properly bored and need something to do (although with pCARS updates every couple of days and a GT5 league and iGPManager league once a week I don't really have time for random gaming)

It was more a 'Ivory Tower reveal' countdown which would only last a month or so - giving you 2 months notice should be enough warning, eh? :cheeky:- 53 replies
