  1. Are you suggesting a Lagonda-style "rear-angled" roof? Or a vertical hatch? -Leadfoot
  2. What should we expect to see? :) -Leadfoot
  3. Cool! :) These are both new to me, at least. It seems that the customization is just stickers - still, that's great! It also means that we can create new versions of cars even if Atari doesn't add them as DLC (special editions and stuff). :) And hooray for rally Scooby! -Leadfoot
  4. I like it. Hell, I'll just say it - I love it. It has flaws (it doesn't need "muscles" behind the headlights, for example, and it could do with a real gated manual), and Mondial drivers will say it deviates from Ferrari's image, but that isn't even correct; Ferrari originally sold cars to fund their (or, rather, Enzo's) racing efforts. Plus, it's not an SUV and it's a shooting brake, which I always love. I love it, whatever the haters say. -Leadfoot
  5. Here's a few of the other locations: In Search of Filming Locations for ABC's Lost - Lost Locations on Oahu, Hawaii Even the Sydney Airport was filmed in a convention center in Hawaii. :) -Leadfoot
  6. Congrats! But I wouldn't push tha- -Leadfoot
  7. I know they'd never do it (the cost to license that would be  ), but that would be too cool. Racing a 599 GTO from Dharma station to Dharma station would be unbelievable. :) -Leadfoot
  8. Oh. Sorry I mentioned it, then.

  9. Geddoff the ROAD! :D -Leadfoot
  10. I spend days looking for well-done engine swaps, and then this just shows up on Jalopnik. :p That one shot says of the engine says it all. LS power FTW! I'd put an LS engine in that RC car. EDIT: I guess this is one case where I disagree with Blinding about car mods. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  11. Very cool! I'll have to try that at some point (New England is pitch black at night, though, so I'd have to go somewhere with more than three lights :p ). What kind of Mazda do you have? -Leadfoot
  12. I like the idea of a pre-race car show. :) Great idea! -Leadfoot
  13. Hey, are we allowed to have GIF sigs? Your new one looks pretty cool (I remember that episode). :D

  14. Mooncraft hardtops are actually a cool (and obtainable) modification for the S2k. :) They are pretty expensive, but the are mass produced, so you're not building/buying something custom. As for my "down to Earth" tuning, I'd make subtle changes to a Mk. 2 MR2. I've been looking at them on eBay and Yahoo! Autos, and they seem like they would be fun cars (especially the glass T-Top). I won't be buying a car for a while, but if I did, it'd probably be that. Ideal modifications - a new set of wheels (something twin-spoke, maybe ASA's or something affordable), wheel spacers, a slight lowering (Eibach Pro-Kit), the grounding of the wires in the "frunk" (front-trunk), and maybe new brakes. Following that, my imagination tells me the interior should have a kit up similar to Alex Roy's M5. All the stuff is purchasable, and it would be great to have interior electronics installed. The stuff's expensive, but like I said earlier, it's all obtainable. -Leadfoot
  15. What did I say? :( I'm not sure why my post got removed. -Leadfoot
  16. From POSTER's pictures, it seems file swapping works, so even if we can't... ;) -Leadfoot
  17. I like the new sig. It's just such a shame there's not a single premium E46 (or any pre-2005 BMW). :( -Leadfoot
  18. Wow! Even if they're not licensed, it's still cool. If they're still the OEM rims (but with different styles), then I'm glad they kept that from the first game. :) -Leadfoot
  19. Read it on Jalopnik. Someone pointed out in the comments that just because he's uber-wealthy doesn't make it something he should forget about. He calculated the 911 Turbo is about 4% of Pennant's income - not overwhelming, but the equivalent of the average adult misplacing several thousand dollars. -Leadfoot
  20. I know you're trying to change things by offering constructively criticizing posts, and that's valiant of you; I also appreciate that you can put together coherent sentences (which is more than can be said for a lot of people who post complaints about games), and that you have good points. But I've had a pretty dynamic past five years in terms of video games - TDU was delayed for seven months, and when it came out it was filled with glitches and often broke. I bought the game four times, in fact, which was exacerbated by the horrendously Atari customer service. But what I realized after about three of those years is that if you want to change something, you've got to do it yourself. Part of this is, yes, gathering attention online. But most of the time this is not enough. Most of the time, your argument is coming from a niche group. It's pointless to look at a future game through rose-tinted Raybands and hope it turns out well, but it's equally pointless to expect a to make a change for a very small percentage of people. This is why I got into modding, and why I began to study and pursue other programs (such as CryEngine). The ideal game for all of us is definitely out there, but sometimes the best we can do is mold existing programs into the shapes we want. Now I'm not saying that we should all try to mod TDU2 from day one (though some people will undoubtedly try to do that), but we should make allowances for the fact it's just a game. It's a flawed game, yes - we can all see that - but it's someone's vision of a game. It may be watered down, but it's still a vision that we need to choose to play. If you like it, that's your choice. If you don't, then it's up to you to create something new. -Leadfoot
  21. That's happened a few times over the past three days, at least at my PC. -Leadfoot
  22. Breakin' da law! :p @hassan1995: I can't say for sure on that issue, but I don't think the offline and online modes are separated like the last game - they're just always connected. I suspect there will be a way to use the club-exclusive cars even without engaging in the online features, though. :) -Leadfoot
  23. You have blue taxis in Singapore? So cool! One of the things that makes the US so mediocre is the lack of color - everything here is just grey metal mixed with warning signs. :( Did you get to hear the 458? :D -Leadfoot
  24. So sorry to hear that! :( Hope it doesn't cost you more than the car did... -Leadfoot
