Having owned a fair few cars, some that are 'financial mistakes'...The good times out weigh the bad! Just be sure to make sure it wont cause actual financial problem! 🙂
But a real engined, Alfa GT! I do envy you, the sound of them alone is epic!

I'm not 100% to think of it, Hong Kong doesn't exactly set me alight as a location. My first thought's is of course of a massive city. Of course, outside the city there is a lot of nice countryside! Size wise, not as 'small' as I thought, area is 1,106Km2, it's just under 2 Ibiza's! 
I don't know what it is, but it just doesn't set me alight. When I think Hawaii I think tropical paradise, when I think Ibiza I think summer holiday & partying, when I think Hong Kong I think...a urban environment and Government unrest. 
 
Still going to keep an eye out for it, but can't see myself rushing to buy it.

I disappear for a few months, completely forgot about TDU:SC and then was somewhat disappointed when I seen there's been no news on it what so ever. 
Shame. Hopeful we hear something this year.

Confirms a 5 year development plan, and may give clues as to a potential release window next year, assuming no delays.  5 years is also plenty long enough to expect a brand new location to cruise about.

Okinawa would actually be pretty sweet. Size wise, it's smaller than O'ahu but bigger than Ibiza. It would also bring a good mix of urban and nature. It's truly an amazing peace of paradise. Kyushu would be great also, but it's a damm big island! 
Sadly though I don't think it would work with the whole TDU vibe myself as it doesn't have the pull or amour that Hawaii or Ibiza has. In the same way if I'm thinking of good driving roads, nice scenery, vibrant city life and 'The Highlife'...the French Riviera comes to mind rather than The Highlands of Scotland. 
 
For now All we can do is guess. I mean who'd to say it's even going to be an island?

California is well represented in The Crew 1 + 2, plus you mentioned that Los Angeles is in GTA V and Midnight Club LA.
I think the checklist for the TDU series tends to be:
* An Island that can be recreated in 1:1 scale or close enough.  Being an island means the world has no arbitrary borders and so is by nature "Unlimited"
* Coastal roads (obviously, it's an island)
* Twisty mountain roads with elevation changes
* Long highways for top speed
* Tunnels for sound appreciation
* Cities and built-up residential areas for extra immersion compared to NFS-style open worlds
* A rich/elite environment where supercars might not be too unexpected in real life
I don't see mainland Europe, America, Brasil (or any mainland) being used by TDU given that it traditionally has been based on elite islands.  Either way I can wait to find out more and explore a new location that I've hopefully never seen before.  I don't mind if they include O'ahu as a secondary or even DLC location but I wouldn't expect it to take primary focus.
 

1:1 scale, I mean I'm going to use good ol O'ahu for reasons we all know and love. According to google, the landlass of the island is 1,545km squared. Why do I point this out? Well the game Fuel, had a map size 14,400Km squared, or  'About the size of the US state of Connecticut', although that map was rather barren but the size was done back on PS3/360 gen. So I'd guess current and next gen could handle 1:1 of O'ahu. That said, Ibiza is only 571Km squared. Or for a bigger island, lets use the French island of Corsica in the Mediterranean, which is bigger than O'ahu with a landmass of 8,722Km squared. 
Keeping it local to me, the Isle of Skye has a landmass of 1,656Km squired. It would 100% fit the TDU vibe of glitzy homes, nice weather and having high end designer clothes stores. 🤣
This is all irrelevant rambling though!
 
As for the 18 rating? I'd guess maybe having a casino again, meaning having the 18+ rating for now keeps them covered for alot of places.

Once again it's been awhile. Growing up means having less time to do things I'm afraid. Since the last time, I blew up the 4age in the 86 and had to park it for awhile. I finally decided on doing an engine swap, and I was originally going to run a 4age 20V with ITBs, but for the same money and more power, I decided to go with a 3sge Beams instead. Swaps currently getting done at a local shop and should be done very soon. To say I'm excited is an understatement. Should be somewhere in the area of 210 crank horsepower and weigh in around 950 kgs.

If they just remade Oahu and Ibiza with some new cars, and overhauled physics/wheel ffb then I will be happy. I'm not expecting some photorealistic blockbuster.
After playing WRC8 I am hopeful about the handling model.

Bloody hell it's been a while. Last time I posted I'd just bought a 350Z... unfortunately I sold the 350Z in August 2019 - I got a new job where I got a company car so I figured it didn't make sense leaving the Z in the garage never being driven. I quickly got bored of not having a fun car though so went in search of a MK1 MX-5, something cheap and old school fun. But then I went and won a Mk3 MX-5 on eBay which was right near my gfs house, so this is the 3rd one I've owned... ffs lol 
It's a 1.8 Niseko edition, I've done a few things to it but still lots to do... primarily, it needs lowering desperately! Looks like an SUV. This lockdown has slowed progress down considerably but anyway, here's a very dirty picture of her:

Hi! It's been a while since I posted something on turboduck last time... anyway, that's my car. Some may say it's a finacial mistake, but for me it's fulfilled dream and every day motivator.  🙂   Even if that car costs me a lot of money and sometimes also my nerves, I never regret owning her.
'05 Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 V6 (Busso engine) with some minor mods;
added limited slip differential Q2 modified (larger) intake manifold with bigger 89mm throttle body from Porsche  modified air intake for bigger throttle body + pipercross filter CF2 exhaust manifolds (decated) exhaust 2x2.25 -> 2.75 on 3 silencers + Ulter duplex at the end AP coilover suspension and few more mods 

I don't know why but at the moment i heavily like the music by lana del rey.
Her nice voice relaxed me at driving. ^^

Haven't posted on here in ages. Almost bought a late 2008 BMW 330D LCI back in May this year, but there was a problem with its history which I found through doing a car check even though the dealer said it was all clear when I was looking around the car - always do your own checks no matter what. To be fair I don't think he had done as indepth a check as I did so he was unaware and refunded my deposit no questions. Normally I'd do a vehicle check before even setting off to see the car, but experience showed that these E90 330Ds don't hang around when they're a decent specification. I also expressed interest in a house around the same time (my first home), so after the car ended up being a bit of a flop I just gave up with looking for another car for the foreseeable and as such I'm still rolling around in the E46 after almost six years. 166,000 miles now...
