  2. In addition, xbox game files (although being very similar) can't be modified with current modding tools. Some folks did provide some xbox unpacked files once. Modding PC files did take ages already, so ...
  3. I did by clicking on the upper right cross. Thinking that Google ad choices would make the overlay disappear as well ! You're welcome, as a web developer in my current job (for large audience web sites), I'm very concerned with this :D
  4. Hi, For a few days, google ad choices have been displayed in a layer (browsing with my mobile, Android 7 and chrome). That layer can't be dismissed although I can dismiss ad content.   5. You should open a dedicated thread (if not already existing) and drop your results there, that will encourage other people to do the same. That way it will make an informative database. Still better than nothing ;)
  6. Maybe you could pick in 1975's patch vehicles with 2CVSUPERGT's agreement (to include one classic or two). For the other models, I believe there was many traffic car mods as BMWs, police etc ... are they unavailable by now (I wouldnt be surprised) ? Anyway, creating a traffic pack is not as hard as adding drivable vehicles (does not need database adjustements), so someone might create it later as optional content :p
  7. Will it mod traffic vehicles also ? Otherwise, I think enhanced traffic vehicles (with real models) will suit Platinum improvements better. Maybe a (free) DLC later ? :D Thanks anyway.

Different traffic settings used with patches have messed the game for sure... 1.66A : genuine traffic 1.67/1.68 : added new traffic vehicles + changed spawning around the map (traffic levels) Afaik 1.68 can be installed without this change, tho. 1975 Mod : added new traffic vehicles + changed spawning around the map (traffic levels) 2.00 : back to 1.66A traffic. I don't think TDU server can tell which AiConfig player is using, best solution would be to provide genuine file in all mod packs to come (including Milli's of course), to clean TDU installs.
  9. For sure one of the the biggest modding project for a driving game. Thanks for this Milli. At the beggining of car modding in 2008, I could not imagine the game would bear and receive such improvements. That's a tribute to this fantastic game, for its 11th birthday. The effort in reverse enginneering the game had a price, now time is for a reward for everyone involved and enthusiasts. Such an epic adventure!
  10. There's an issue with file in which TDUF stores configuration. Could you post contents of this file (documents and settings/your user/tduf.properties) ? thanks. Deleting this file should solve the issue for now.

Or not :) just for your information, even if this project is stopped, I would not put a stable label if it was not; I test every single of change I've made into this piece of crap. Literally. So ya, you seem to be the first person having such issues with this version - or the single one having downloaded it. Sorry so :D Good luck with patch 1.68b, have fun!     Hi, as you just get started with all these, I don't think it's a good way to put your hands on JSON files and command lines for now. You just have to get familiar with basics : Tools reference · djey47/tdu-cp Wiki · GitHub. You will use following tools : TDUF Database Editor, TDUMT, TDUPE TDUF Database Editor allows you to change everything in database files TDUMT allows to work with game textures, BNK files, and provides a basic vehicle editor. Along misc things. TDUPE is a complete vehicle editor. Have fun!

  15. --- Post Updated --- Houses BNK files should be replaced as well, as I guess the capacity is hardcoded in them ... database update only is not sufficient. And capacity might also be hardcoded in savegame file :(
  16. Only way I'm thinking of is changing house capacity in database, then replacing house BNK files with fthose of biggest ones. But that's just a suggestion, no guarantee that savegame can be extended to store 200+ more cars. Savegame file is one of the most critical and hardest to handle in this game. Moreover, all houses would look the same. Not good.
  17. That's very nice features and great car choice to begin with :D On the other hand, do you plan to show what is current state about physical engine ? (dampering, jumps, collisions, weight transfer, drifting ...) Having this large, flat playground makes it difficult to watch for vehicle behaviour.
  18. iirc we can't change number of traffic vehicles and add more than current maximum. It's just possible to set traffic density per area (many levels available, 5 I believe). Should be in AiConfig.xml, pretty sure Patch 1.68b changes this already (but with risks of sync issues in online mode). A great addition would be to replace those noname cars with real vehicles for traffic!

I don't know about UE4 engine mechanics still, just offering help to potentially get assets from other games (in respect to copyright, of course :D ) For my part, I will explore unity development in my spare time (would address wider range of devices, but with less advanced features than UE4, for sure !)

  21. Because physics engine is arcad-ish (but without any driving pleasure) and does not handle vehicle torque and forces properly. In real life, even if the 4th gear could allow that speed, air friction and some other facts will prevent engine from getting max RPMs... Can't remember whether TDU1 has the same behaviour, but it is way more realistic in many aspects !
  22. No need to bother him right now, as the files are far from ready yet (and I'm afraid models would be of bad quality ...). I hope to be back for Platinum as well ! Kinda like a TDU3 or something :duck:
  23. Like the rest... on hold! Someone did give me xbox files, but they have to be converted to be PC compatible. And help of car modders will be needed after this... and as you know they left the place. I think doing those models from scratch would be much easier. :D
