  1. the Zebukas sounds like a V8, I just checked. I recomend the SL65 sound from Ten., he provided the AMG V12 sound back then for my SL65. It sounds like an actual V12.
  2. It might be my negative persona speaking, but in my opinion the "tight-lipped"ness is more of a "were doing what we think is right and don't want any input from anyone", basically like "dont let the fans stand in our way in doing what we think is good". As if they expect the fandom to just eat it and pre-order instantly when they publish the first infos about it. I have TLOU2 in my mind, as a current example. If it wouldnt have been leaked, the fandom would just buy it to explore that the actual game, story and agenda is rubbish. But like I said, I sincerely hope I am not correct on this and TDU3 will be spectacular. I really hope so. And I really really hope Bigben and Kylotonn will perhaps get in touch with the community and the fandom. Even post release. With TDU, they perhaps hold the franchise with the largest fandom base they ever had, so it would be a bad idea from a marketing standpoint and horrific for the fandom if they would just distance themselfes from the community. Look at Playground Games with Forza, I think it's the best example as of how close a dev/fan relationship can be, at least in a racing game genre. Eventhough it's not perfect, they do listen. Please, Kylotonn, join the community and listen to what the fandom wants, since they are paying you, after all.
  3. I hope since the publisher changed the general idea of the game is still the same. I hope to see just a TDU1 remastered with epic graphics and more options, but who knows if they don't just go the Forza route and scrap every configuration option to speed up development. Or if they go the Crew way and just make it some clusterf_ck of customization options which required you to upgrade to progress (which I didn't enjoy personally). The optimal way is the inbetween, but like I mentioned we got to see how the new developer let the studios execute their ideas.
  4. If they point out Epic for some reason, it's pretty certain gonna be a 1-year exclusive. We already seen this with Borderlands 3, Metro: Exodus, Statisfactory and bunch of other stuff. I mean I don't care, since I am using the launcher for Unreal engine anyway, but I fully understand the concerns, especially after the "gamers bad (tm)" statement from the Ooblets developers. God, this was awful. PS: Bigben's "Overpass" is an Exclusive, so why wouldn't TDU3 be
  5. Do you run in admin mode? overwriting errors are caused mostly because the application has no permission to overwrite certain files, especially on C:/ drive
  6. import 3d model to zmodeler, convert it to tdu specs, export the 3d model, done. There is no easy answer. There are a couple tutorials here. I belive there are tutorials on youtube too
  7. as much as I love the fact TDU3 is being delivered, I am too damaged by TDU2 to trust it's going to be super good. I would love to be wrong here, however. PS: Oahu wont return, it's Brazil time, as some people have leaked.
  8. should be located in Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Sound\Musics, but I can't open the files so I can't tell which one it is. Maybe someone else can help further
  9. Yes but we literally can edit the whole database And TDU has not the manpower of a GTA or NFS community to reverse engineer the whole Twilight II engine. It isn't even worth trying it at this point
  10. there is no "code" to work on in TDU. It's all database. If it's not in the database, it's not modable / changeable. And after 14 years of release of the game you can be sure the whole database was encrypted long ago already
  11. https://turboduck.net/forums/topic/22165-grin116-wv-golf-mk2-92-stock-version/
  12. uhm I'm not quite sure what you mean really. you can change the interior color ingame by changing the database colors for the slot, each exterior color has interior colors attached to it which you can switch. if the color is pre-made in the model then it's somwehere in the texture. You can show an example
  13. Not quite sure what you mean by that, but I am not aware of post process mods like this
  14. I assume replacing the files. I don't know exactly never did that. Also TDU uses WAV not MP3 except user music
  15. Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Sound\Musics and Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Sound\Cinematics
  16. Then you did something wrong. Have you installed everything in the correct paths?
  17. With HEX editor perhaps. But it's easy to mess up. For online the simplest solution would be to start over the game. The usernames are unique so it's not possible to make this savegame online out of the box
  18. in TDUF in the vehicle slots profile under the datasheet tab the third row. Called "Price ($)"
  19. editing existing mods is super unethical and an unwritten rule in the modding scene to not do that. So it won't happen for Platinum. The only two solutions are hoping the original creator will fix it (super unlikely) or live with it. Nobody is making mods because it's super time consuming and fairly complicated to achive good results for beginners. And old modders just don't want to.
  20. TDU1 and TDU2 vanilla models have Ambient Occlusion baked into vertex color. It's fairly complex to replicate for a beginner and requires you to understand techniques in baking, understand the concept of ambient occlusion and have access to software which is able to do that (I never use it, but when I do it's 3DS Max, ZModeler 3 can do it aswell) My advice: skip it E: Zmodeler Tutorial: 3DS Max Tutorial:
