Although I think the car looks good I still think the Dodge Challenger SRT looks better.

Even with the ground effects on the Camaro I prefer the Challenger.

The SRT seems to sit too high up for my tastes kinda like the R/T in TDU but whos to say if you can afford the car you can't get a lowering kit installed!?

Since I am not willing to pay the money they want for either car and recently sold my Vette I would opt to buy a nice C5 Corvette for around $25,000 and would be much happier.

Could care less the C5 might look dated, and thats just what I am looking into.

This comes from a long time Camaro Z28 fan and I have owned 3-a 79',81' and an 84'.

Well you can afford it ;).

Whats that meant to mean

I do like the camaro, and, im not 100% sure why, but i prefer it more than the challenger as i feel the challenger has some good design features, but theres 1/2 things that would do my head in.

Looks mean, would never buy one as long as I lived in Britain. But if I lived stateside I could see the appeal. Muscle cars just don't work outside the USA imo.

Yeah, you have a point there. Even here they look out of place. I was in Detroit for Meadowbrook in '07, over 2 days I must have seen 11 GTOs and 1 GTO rebadged as a Monaro out on the roads.

i suppose this car is a good sendoff to Gm in the worst of cases.

it's sad to see these companies dying just as they're making cars i actually like, what with vauxhall/opel at deaths door just after the insignia and GM begging after the ZR1, Camaro and Volt. its a shame.
