Ewww, I wanted to get dust filters for my case, but they are a real pain to fit onto the fans. Although the case grating catches a lot of the dust.

It also helps that I have all of the fans turned off most of the time apart from when gaming or when it's a hot day.

I usually have the fans at 50% or off aswell, but my fan controller decided to break a little while ago :(

My Antec 900 doesn't have fan controllers :(

I always keep an eye on the temperatures. The hard drives turn off after 3 minutes of no use and aren't used when not gaming. OS and all my programs run off my SSD which is always cool. With all my media being streamed over the network from my NAS.

 

Makes for a good HTPC as it's almost silent with the fans off.

Good lord. I'm afraid of mine getting that dusty. I try and clean mine at least once a week. Thank god Corsair put dust filters in their Graphite cases.

 

Speaking of fans, I need some new 200mm's. The stock Corsair ones are a bit loud and I want to go with a UV Cathode light which doesn't go well with white LED's.

While that may be true, my dog, Dashie aka Mr. Daggles (Dag-els), sheds a lot so his hair likes to be eaten up by the computer fans.
