He obviously means the Naza livery, but I don't really see what's so bad about that...

Oh I see. But where is the comment I posted?? Why is it gone??

it wasn't the NAZA livery, it's the 'orrid little advert for ...proton *spits*

I hate realising that one of britain's finest sports car companies is owned by Malaisa's cheapest little rust box company, it's soul destroying

Ah well, at least the Malaysians have pretty much left Lotus alone to get on with doing what they do best, unlike how the Americans totally raped Saab and nearly destroyed Jaguar...

that's a very good point actually, they also own the bike company MV augusta, and there is nothing that really shows the 3 companies as being related. With GM you see all sorts of badge engineering, and across Ford products you get shared components (jag XK having the same keyfob as a volvo S60...) and even in VAG there's a similarity between its products

Proton thankfully hasn't brought down the companies, I mean a Lotus breaks down all the time, but the acronym 'Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious' existed well before proton showed the world how to break down in a brand new fashion :p

Without the support of proton, the Lotus F1 racing team would not have come back in 2010. The last F1 car would have been the Lotus Type 102B.

There, corrected your post for you

Great race from Lotus, was good to see both their cars finish the race, unlike the other new teams.

Great race from Alonso, Unlucky vettel - Although he did well to finish where he did after his exhaust went wrong. And it's also great to see hammy on the podium :)

result for the Australian GP .....

Heikki 13th, Trulli retired..

It's not bad. Lotus is doing a little bit better than the other new teams.

Trulli had the same problem than other Cosworth-powered cars...

Technically, Trulli shouldn't be a retirement because he never even started the race... Anyway, the way things are going, looks like Richard Branson's going to have to wear that AirAsia dress at the end of the year! :D
