Hey guys, I currently have an Ipod Nano 8GB and I've been looking to replace it(although I love it:p) with an Ipod Touch. I'm looking into the 32GB version because I think the 8 is to small and the 64 is a little expensive. I have about $335 to spend on an Ipod. 32GB versions start at about $300 and $64GB are about $400.. So my question is should I go for it, go for the 64GB or get something completely different, any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

Honestly? 64GB is unnecessary imo, unless you have a huge porn collection you plan on converting to MP4.

Let's be honest iPods are used primarily for music, despite their many other functions. My iTunes library on my Macbook is over 6000 songs and weighs in at 40 odd Gig. Why would you need 64?

I agree with the other two, someone once told me that "even if you manage to fill all that space, there is no way on earth you actually listen to it all anyway" and I think that makes sense.

When I hear "iPod" I think music anyway and I have never realised why people need these crazy amounts of memory.

You've made do with an 8gb Ipod, so do you really need 8 x what you have right now? Will you need to fit 8 x as much songs on it? I don't really think so.

I had an Ipod touch (iPhone now) and the apps don't take up that much space at all, Podcasts take up a bit more than songs, But I really don't think you'll need 64gb, So i voted 32 :)

I can understand buying an Iphone as it isn't just for music, but why the hell does any one want a 64GB> player:confused:

(personally I use MP3 player so I can plug and play any machine, any time, any where, without extra software. bad side is that not much stuff exists for MP3 players eg dust protectors)
