Yeah the fouls were really bad in places, Spain didn't exactly play well either and to be honest it was quite a boring final. :( Congrats to Spain though, Iniesta played well and deserved his goal.

Unlucky Holland. It really is a shame because most of the time they were brilliant in the world cup. I was going to get up and watch it but slept through it :(

Holland... They played fantastically for the entire tournament. Then comes the final and the game plan changed entirely. The fouling was atrocious throughout, however on the few occasions where Holland actually played they looked dangerous. Shame, I was hoping for a much better final.

 

I did LOL at the Dutch fans booing Webb, he was super lenient. Holland could have easily ended that game with 6 or 7 men left. But hey, what can you expect. Wish I was in Spain tonight.

I was surprised that the player that karate kicked a Spanish player didn't get a straight red. It looked quite painful, lucky to not break any ribs too.

I'm glad Spain won. Holland seemed far too aggressive especially with all the yellow cards and red cards they got and the fact that Robben kept trying to get the referee to side with him, what rubbish!

It was quite a boring final and I was angry when Spain won, the 2006 final was more exciting, especially when Zidane headbutted one of the Italian players and knocked him out.
