In theory, yes, but it should be pretty obvious that those who are following racing games and their development (and if you're reading the Tweets of Atari/NBP's head of marketing, you pretty much have to be) are aware of both games.

 

So he's only acknowledging the topic that people are always avoiding - NFS vs. TDU. I feel that this encourages a relationship with the buyers, rather than remaining cold and nameless like EA.

 

Granted, its not what I'd do if I were in marketing. I would probably create ads focusing on NFS's apparent limited topic and point out how TDU2 has all and more. But what Lee's doing is nice. :)

You misinterpreted my post, (note the italics)

 

What I was getting at was the fact an endorsement from Atari/NBP would hurt sale for EA, it'd be like saying 'Mercedes, Endorsed by KIA' :cheeky:

 

Oh, sorry. I know what you're talking about now - SNL did a skit like that during the '08 elections (Bush endorses McCain).
