Auto Park and Self Park option?

This is a little detail I found accidentally and have had 2 people check it out and it appears to be as I thought. Eden have added a nice little detail that was sort of asked for and that is to allow yourself to be able to drive your car into your house. What I mean by this is it appears there are 2 ways to enter your garage when you go to your house in a car. There's the typical drive in front of the gate and then press the button and auto-drive scene kicks in.

 

But there's another whereby if you take the car into the drive or driveway itself and stop just infront of the garage then you will also get a cut scene showing but it will be much shorter and merely show you walking away from the car rather than the full drive in scene.

 

I don't know if it works in other places but it certainly works on 4 houses myself and the other 2 tested it on.

 

Try it yourself and see if it works.

I've seen it on one of my houses. But it should've been made one step further than that, to actually driving the car inside the garage and parking it how and wherever you want it.

Didn't work at the house I'm saved at but then again this garage has 2 doors so the game is probably in a world of confusion.

Well, it's gotta have a driveway, and an open gate, so at least 4 spaces.

Works on all the houses I tried it on. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the enter house message to appear once you've stopped outside your garage.

You have to press enter / confirm to do it... I thought it was automatic!

No, I wouldn't say it was obvious based on his wording :p

 

 

That said, I reckon I would've at least tried pressing Enter when it didn't work instead of just reporting back here. :lol:
