To make it even funnier, I just saw the updated rules for tonight's GT5 league race which is at Suzuka, which in part states:

 

Turn 15

No running wide, if you run wide twice while being followed you MUST give up your position you are defending.

 

Also

DO NOT attempt to over take on this turn. If you do and cause a crash you have a stop/go penalty

It was the last lap, I was defending hard and random wanted the position, I promise I won't be defending when we get to the league - as it would be against the rules.

 

A race that Pr0 and I had, which resulted in a very close finish.

I was blocking him hardcore, he was clearly faster than I was and I still blocked. Just for fun though.

I should have said blocking. You can block in the League, just don't be an arse about it - you can block someone on the last lap as long as it doesn't cause a huge pile-up, we have to use our brains. Obv jumping out of the inside line to block the outside isn't very welcome.

Massive update: This was the race with Loz and the guys over at FinalGear!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So the story goes, I started in 7th (out of 8 people) and I made an early mistake and fell back to 6th. It took me 30 minutes just to get back to 3rd place and then it took another 20 minutes to get the lead. While battling for the lead for a solid 10 minutes, I finally spun out and pitted - hoping 1st and 2nd place would pit as well. However, they did not. I managed to catch up 2,000 feet in the last 20 minutes of the race or so, but I still came in 3rd overall. I had a blast, the guys are great and the racing was fun as hell.
