Dual core CPUs and 800MHz DDR2 RAM aren't going to be enough to run this well (yes there will be more optimisations at the end, they're doing a build every day). Sure it's 2012 now but this is essentially a 2013-14 game.

Would if I could. Replacing anything at this point would mean a full rebuild, which I couldn't possibly afford :(

BMW livery voting update - currently effectively in 24th position (when I sign into my 7 other accounts and vote). Being in the top 20 is not out of reach and would be a good place to aim for.

New Junior+ build will be released today including these new changes

- Ford Focus RS (the first FWD car in pCARS which will be a test of the physics engine)

- Maybe the... Staro-Motor SRS 6.3 (notMercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG)???

- RRF-G carcass for street cars

- Changes to tyre compounds: Street_Green, Slick_Green and Slick_White

- Qualifying (first pass, buggy)

- Heavy Fog condition added

- New tree models at Milan

- Many tracks have wet road surfaces added (including Eifelwald (aka notNordschleife) that many were waiting for)

- Many updates and fixes to the tracks: Azure Circuit, Badenring, Besos, Derby, Eifelwald, Heusden, Milan, Moravia, Sakitto, Solitude, Wisconsin. (since last week)

- Car updates on: BMW M3 GT, BMW M3 E30 Gr.A, Caterham SP300R, Gumpert Apollo,

- Many more other fixes

+ lots more for Juniors from the last 4 weeks.

Have quickly chucked a few shots together as my FRAPS drive is almost full (have already had to delete old recordings) and uploaded a *draft* trailer:

Would appreciate feedback before I finish it off and post it on the WMDPortal forums. Some of the footage is quite old and I don't have the right keyboard for getting all those great custom camera angles.

Looks good man, I'm not really the first person to comment on how well put together a video is really, looks good to me though, just lacking those angles like you said. It's the best of what you could have done.

Remember this is a 2014 game essentially that we're able to play early and code is not optimised. So if you have the latest monster gaming rig the game will thank you for it but you can play with less.

Also unlike other racing games pCARS in pre-alpha form will prefer a high-end CPU for when you race 64 AI opponents with advanced tyre physics when they all crash at Turn 1 with damage enabled :lol:

Oh its coming to consoles? I may grab it on 360, if its coming out on it. Perhaps it'll be coming for the next Xbox and PS4 though... Oh well, good to know regardless.
