The footage seemed more relaxed and focussed on the joy of driving rather than being all dramatic, which was refreshing for a change.

Cool 'new' official trailer, which is actually made up of a collection of old user-made trailers

This is currently the intro movie of the game if you fire it up. As you can see there is new branding as well (possibly because the 3rd party ad-men for World of Speed were lazy and basically just used the same orange 'S' from the old pCARS branding). This new branding is somewhat a throwback to their old GT Legends sim.

This video is too dark, in my opinion... not to mention it's lacking a good mix of music and engine sounds, it's just music and graphics.

But well, who's me to say anything... :rolleyes:

Edit: The video that Santeri made is way better than this one.

I think it's just that guys capture settings that made the video dark - I saw a brighter one but YT removed the music (copyright).

As I said I doubt it 's a final one if for no other reason than most of the footage being from very old builds.

Clever and creative, different yes but it works! Quite enjoyed that. Like those little teaser clips you see that whet your appetite for what it's showing.

Also Stu have you considered using Autopilot mode (Ctrl+I) to film enough stuff to finish off your trailer while your wheel is kaput? I'm sure SMS could use the extra gamepad/keyboard testers too :) (To be honest I was faster using the keyboard than the wheel when driving the Renault Megane only because it's hard work catching drifts with the force feedback).

I usually do use autopilot occasionally but the AI has been really rubbish for me lately (running off in every second corner on basically every track) so it's pretty hard to film anything usable :( And I have played a bit with my pad as well but it's quite hard tbh :(

Also, that trailer was gooooood :nods:

I only learned about this game after you could get into the beta so I didn't manage to get in unfortunately :( But it looks like an incredible racing sim and I can't wait till November to give it a shot!

Nice work Josh

The only thing I could think of is that the music sort of demanded faster action instead of slow-motion, especially at the start. But where the music died down a bit it was really good.
