Hi could someone shed some light on my issue. I have an old cd version of tdu and I've installed it with 2.00 patch with or without I cannot load the game with bigbnk or any other options in project paradise? I'm running win 10

 

install tdu 1.45

extract full patch 2.00

add paradise files to folder

@Mademan: I might start a rewrite of the project as well as an update with the missing features (if I can figure out all the missing Gamespy stuff) later this month (but I can't guarantee anything since I'm quite busy in real life, and I'm also working on a simulation mmo-racing game in my freetime :D).

For me, there are only 3 things to import from tdu2 inside tdu1:

- the weather

- Ibiza

- the ability to walk inside the houses

Hello to all TDU fands in this thread, this is my first entry in this Forum. What a great community which keeps this nice PC-game alive ;) unfortunately I have some issues with the Paradise mod, especially with the G27 FFB fix. I installed both, Paradise mod and the dinput8.dll in the game folder and now TDU doesn't start anymore :( It says that dinput8.dll is not made to work under Windows or the file is corrupted. Error code: 0xc0000020. Any suggestions what I could do to run the Game successfully with FFB?

 

My System: Win10 pro 1709 64bit

TDU: 1.66 with Mega car pack

Wheel: Logitech G27

These are basic troubleshooting steps, but are you (1) running an authentic (non-cracked) version of the game and (2) running TestDriveUnlimited.exe as an administrator? Neither should absolutely be required, but this is all unofficial so anything can happen.

Hi, Test drive is 100% original. I reinstalled it from DVD because the only modification was a trainer for money. I always run the game as administrator. But I noticed, that the input8.dll (provided in the paradise mod thread page 106) has a 0kb filesize. Looks like the file is corrupted. Is there another download source? The former "official" one attached on page 1 of the thread is dead.

The DLL located at http://tiny.cc/tduppg27 extracts just fine. Make sure any anti-virus isn't preventing it from being successfully extracted.

Hey all, im getting stuck on "Connecting to server" at the start of launching the game... Im on PP 0.03 and game ver 1.66a. I don't own the megapack. Is there any fix / workaround? Thanks!

Firewall and similar IP blocking software can block connection.

I am using 1.66A version and make sure you launch project paradise .exe not original .exe (original will fail to connect)

postcd, I have allowed the app through the firewall, and i have no IP/port blocking software. I've updated to 1.66 and found the megapack and I launched from the pp exe. Nothing seems to be working...

Do you have access to multiple internet connections to test with? It could very well be at the ISP level.
