apex runs perfectly for me steady 60fps, the ffb needs a little work but it's much better than most racing games out right now.

The horizon 3 demo is showing on the Microsoft store and is around 18gb which is sizable for a demo, hopefully it's something different to what they've shown.

Does the download slow to a crawl for anyone else?

 

I paused and resumed it which then reset itself from 7.0/60.GB to 0/49.GB. But again, it got to download 4gb quickly then just pretty much stopped with an error. So it had to start from 0 again. Overnight it's only downloaded 9GB

 

I can cruise Sat morning UK time if it's ready.

It's very slow for me too, started the download at like 18:00, now it's 23:33 for me and it's around halfway... very slowly now though.

I've tried enabling P2P downloads in Windows Update settings. It jumped back up to 16Mbps down, but am at work now so who knows if it'll drop again.

The game is reviewing extremely well and nVidia put out new drivers that Gamersyde have seen make a real improvement on the performance and stability of their setup. I think I read that AMD will be doing the same.

it might be your internet, mine was done in about 3-4 hours.

I can't wait to fire this thing up in 4K, 1 day to go!

optimization is great,

I'm currently running apex with DSR 4K + Ultra on 60 fps steady.

If FH3 is anything like it, it'll be a walk in the park.

Given that the console version are locked at 60 (FM) and 30 (FH) FPS might one then expect you to get ~30+ with that config?

 

After running WSReset.exe and the Windows Update troubleshooter it looks like I might actually get the who game down this time (currently at 25.8GB)

well console version of FM runs without any AA, you could try turning on AA from nvidia control panel with the apex version and see the results yourself.
