I also have 3 questions, so if anybody knows please tell me: 1.How can you adjust bots difficulty (can you make them harded?) 2.How can you add/delete bots for certain race or map 3 @Milli I encountered weird event - when I started the longest race in game (don't remember name - price 200 000) there was Zaz custom car in race, I replaced all of them so how could that happen, do you know what could be a reason?

Hi, I just installed this pack. I love it but realized that both American tuner locations do not show up on my map. I can go to the locations where they are supposed to be, the building is there but there is no sign and no means of entry. Have they been moved from the original locations ?

It is probably a error on my part according to the install or starting the mod on a saved game...

Thanks

No, it still in same place. The issue with old save games is small, as some cars have been "duplicated" in order to fix TDU PE. An old car mod made it confused, and the way i found to fix was duplicate the car. So, for example, the Audi RS4 you buy new is a different Audi RS4 you had before. Solution? Buy a new car.

That might be your issue.

@Milli

It works now, thanks sis!

Three more questions before I finally stop being a nuisance:

A) can I replace every car in your pack the same way as with the custom cars? For example, can I simply copy and override the Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 files with those of an Alfa Romeo 4C and just change the name and physics in TDUPE?

B) How exactly does one create tuning kits? Making space for the cars in their tuned state is logical, but then? I'm asking because, for example, I want my M3 E92 to have the option at the tuner's to become the M3 GTS. I have too install the M3 GTS files, and then...?

C) does the tutorial for adding even more slots to the game still work with your pack or is the hard-cap of possible cars reached?

Thanks for your answers!

A) Yes it is possible to edit any car in the pack. Just with TDU PE. Remeber, change the DB Resources is not necessary and may cause problems.

B) It is a long process and even longer if you want a body swap, as you would need to create a new car slot, and then make it work with the tuning pack codes.

C) Yes, it is still possible to add newer car slots. As a matter of fact, i believe both cars you mentioned will be added in TDU Platinum. So, fear not.

1) editing the behaviour in bots.db, but i tried that and TDU gave the PansleDVD error. Because some races have bots picked by their difficulty.

2) HEX editing only. Which i don't know how.

3) That happens mostly because how the race bots are coded, that race probably picks any car (of higher classes) and assign it with any bot, randomly. TDU likes to do that.

Okay so just to be sure, it is impossible to completely delete zaz cars from races?

I am not sure if u understood what I meant:

I replaced all Zaz custom cars, there are NO Zaz cars in game left. But in race it actually appeared, it is normal? unfixable?

and 2nd thing can I somehow edit Ace level to not require those 4 races that crash my game? do you know how can I do it?

I want to get 100% completion without those crashing races

I don't know. A bot that uses any Zaz car is non-existent. Not a single bot is set to use them. And is fair to remember that the "zaz" car is actually TDU's Default car. They will show up any time the game can't load any car.

There is, yes. Edit the acheivement.db, and you can set Ace level at any %.

Thanks for the advice, but i don't think that is the issue. I have sold all American cars, then bought the Impala SS, then went to the location where the tuner is supposed to be and there is no icon to enter, even with the correct vehicle (image below). it wont show on my map either

Could you tell me in steps how to do it? sorry for bothering, but I've tried to use TDU modding tool (from your pack) and I cant find a way to edit achievement.db, i don't want to mess something up again

That's because you don't edit it with Modding Tools. You must extract it, run it throught TDU UT, find the code line, change the according value, run through TDU UT again, and then replace it. If you mess anything up, the game will crash.

That is not the shop location, never was and never will be. That's just a billboard. I won't tell you exactly where it is, because that is part of the fun in TDU. All i will say is, it's near the shop you actually bought that Impala.

for the moment, i have all the packs and the updates, so all the car-races work perfectly, but there are still 3 moto-races who's bug (triumph day include)

try to put the megane II RS in the next update plz milli, it's a really good car in reality and the model seems really good

Hey guys,

I'm working on something. Milli, I hope I have permission to alter your car pack because that's precisely what I've done.

As I am a perfectionist, I want my TDU to be as realistic as possible. I not only am altering all the car prices to be as realistic as possible (based on new car prices for still-in-production cars and auctions for hyper-cars and classics) but I also am working on the rarity.

It always annoyed me a bit that once I saved up 650k (3.3 million now)$ for an Enzo, I could just waltz into the next Ferrari dealership and buy one. Welp, not anymore. An Enzo is a car that's limited to 400 cars, which means, that it now has a rarity of 0.04 - or 4%. I base this on the concept of "10k cars = 100% rarity, 100 cars or less of one model = 1% rarity". I know, that makes the game a lot harder and more of a game based on patience, but let's be honest, TDU is very easy except for a few events.

Anyhow, in case you guys are interested, I will share this project.

The problem is, I only have not yet figured out HOW. Do I simply need to compress the database-folder and paste it here or do I need to do something more than that to have the price-change and rarity-change have an effect on your game? Does someone know?

All the best and keep cruising!

First, it is not my pack, it is community's. So, yes you have permission to change, as anyone can do that too. Thing is, if something goes wrong, i might not be able to help, as i won't know what and how the changes are done.

But, as rarity goes and prices, TDU PE does it all. No need to mess with db files.

But, side effect, once 1 car in a brand new dealer get's the rarity below 1, every car in that dealer will get the "classic car shop" status and they will lose the brand new configuration. Since their rairity is 1, they will always be available and always be displayed as first color and first rim.

Keep that in mind when doing it, and you might consider re-locate the cars in the dealers, which can be done in Modding Tools.

Both tools were provided with the UCP download.

Yes I know, for once I haven't tinkered with the DB-files, I only used TDU PE. As for the classic car status, I know, I have noticed. Is there a way to randomise the configurations? One of the few things I dislike about TDU is not being able to change the rims and interior.

Any car with rarity below 1 will randomise the configuration when it is available to buy. Even a 0.99 one.

If it is 1, it won't. But again, even a 0.99 might not be available all the time.

Edit:

And how you want to buy a classic used car with brand new features, such as spec it yourself? TDU is very realistic about that.

Milli could u share information what cars you will add to platinum pack? I guess there will not be a lot of them, since there are not much space left in dealer shops

P.S. Is there possibility to add replaced Zaz cars to races? I noticed that none of cars I replaced for Zaz are in race

Random rims, random exterior color, random interior color.

Also, shouldn't the XJ220 have a rarity of less than 100%? Or will it break the Jaguar dealer because every other car will have a rarity of 100%?

It will break the Jaguar dealer. Plus, i tried to keep only 1989 cars or below with rarity. Since XJ220 is 1992, it doesn't fall into the category.

Okay so I found out that cars which I replaced for old ones (mostly only RUF's cars) are still in same class instead of new ones

for example:

I swapped RUF from class B with BMW X5 and changed it to class D

In B races there are still this "RUF" with same speed etc. even height, but with BMW X5 body

this might also be reason why some races crash

anyway to fix that? help please :)

You found most indeed, but cars that can be bought in dealers, Like the Pontiac GTO 5.7, Pontiac G8, Solstice, Ford Escort RS, Volvo 242, S60 and etc are not hidden.

If you find in a dealer, it is not a hidden one. But good job, was it fun to hunt those down?

It would be nice to know the modder names and the producion year of each car, because many mods are made by different modders. ;)

Also there are some mods, I cannot identify by the given names here, like Fiat Punto 1.8 Sporting for example.

I only know about the Fiat Punto Evo Sport by Comb@T and an Evo by Takumi aka DJvitas.

Another example is the Dodge Viper GTS-R. Never heard about such one at all.

One more is the Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback. There are many Mustang GT, some Fastback, but never heard of a Premium.

tbc ...
